Yellow Card Apartment & Bungalows

An absolutely great place to get an authentic experience of real Zanzibar life in Jambiani. The rooms were clean and regularly cleaned. The guesthouse has a swimming pool and a restaurant. The food in the restaurant is absolutely fantastic and delicious at very reasonable prices. The service is very nice. The breakfasts were also fantastic - always fresh fruit and juices. If you are not expecting some luxury accommodation, but only a room to sleep in, this place is absolutely ideal.

This little jewel in Jambiani is a great find not far from the beach. There is a great vibe which attracts tourists walking by.

The restaurant staff are super cool and I've spent many an hour just soaking up the energy of the place. The menu is good and the food is delicious and fresh.

In-house guests sing the praises of the accommodation which seems to be very pleasing to different types of travellers.

There are regulars who seem to come back for more of the same awesome experience of good vibes and great food. I'm one of them😋

The place is very clean and chilled and gives a nice family vibe. The staff is friendly, however, only the main managers speak English.

You can't see the ocean from here, but it's really close, less than 5 min walk.

However the best part about this place is the cafe. They have really good food (I suggest the sea food pizza). Breakfast was usually a bunch of fruit, fresh juice, coffee, and then eggs with toast, however you prefer (scrambled, omelette, fried, Spanish, etc).

Only downside, I'd suggest not buying your souvenirs at their place, as the price is 2-3x more than what you'd get at the Paje market nearby.

If you're taking one of the apartments above the cafe, know that the balcony is shared between the two apartments, and the room door to the balcony does not lock. So make friends with your neighbours.:)

It was the second time that I stayed at the yellow card apartment. The team is amazing, very helpful, they are always ready to help you. I loved also the area. You are staying close to the locals and very near to the beach. I loved that, you get to know the people there and many lovely kids because there is a school near by. They also grow their own fruits. If you are lucky you might get it directly from the tree to your breakfast plate or in a juice or smoothie. The café is great, it’s very cosy and has great coffee/espresso to offer and definitely the best smoothies :) You get tasty and fresh local food there. If you want to cook for yourself, there is a big cooking area with all equipment you need to prepare food. Also, the cloth washing was included. The bungalows are clean and have their own bathroom. There is also a volleyball field and a trampoline which is free to use. You can rent everything you need for snorkelling. All in one, it was an amazing stay at Yellow Card, would definitely stay there the third time.

Nous sommes allés au restaurant, il est situé en retrait de la plage, dans le village. Plats typiques cuisinés avec goût. Très sympa de découvrir les recettes traditionnelles. Le rapport qualité prix est top ! Le cadre est très agréable et le service est fait avec le sourire et la bonne humeur. Une belle découverte.

Wir waren heute hier essen, ein gemütliches Restaurant. Wir hatten chicken curry und seafood pizza, das Essen war sehr gut. Freundlicher Empfang, guter und schneller Service.

Super miejsce na budżetowy wypad. Czysto, smacznie i przemili właściciele. Do plaży 2min na piechotę. Fajna strefa z hamakami na terenie Hotelu.

Как размещение - не знаю, кафе понравилось. Широкий ассортимент, заточен под европейцев скорее, хотя местная кухня также представлена. Ценник от 10000 шиллингов (300р), порции огромные, одного блюда точно будет достаточно.

Krásne prostredie. Obsluha príjemná, a pizza bola pre mňa najlepšia akú som kedy jedol. Neskutočne dobrá.

Tanio , wygodnie , czysto , obsługa miła ale nie nachalna co jest ogromnym plusem i jeszcze raz cena ja ztargowałem na miejscu do 30 $ za noc 👍a jeszcze do tego smacznie za 14 $ objad dla dwojga też taniocha
