Fleur de Chine Hotel Sun Moon Lake

My boyfriend and I stayed in early Jan, and everything about the experience was top notch. Before we got to the hotel they called to ask about our food preferences and arrange to have a birthday cake waiting in the room for us. The staff were all extremely attentive and helpful (and seemed to remember us individually). The amenities were impressive: indoor rock climbing, an expansive game room, hot springs, a kids playground, and concerts at the hotel. The food was excellent, and the selection was vast. Our room was lovely, with a huge hot tub and a gorgeous view of Sun Moon Lake. The hotel is right next to the lake trail, and they offer bike rentals and tours around the lake. And they have a free shuttle to and from the high speed rail station in Taichung. I can't recommend Fleur de Chine highly enough! We will definitely come back.

a wonderful weekend escape from city life!! natural beauty, elegant interior design, many different activities and tours to experience and learn new things! the food was excellent, too. i also had a massage and facial and the rooms were so well designed with breathtaking view of the lake.
the hotel shuttle service to-and-fro the high speed rail station was also excellent, making the short weekend trip from Taipei extremely convenient and allowed me to truly relax and enjoy the brief time I had at the resort.

It was my first time visiting this luxury hotel, and I was pleasantly surprised by the number of facilities available for guests to use. The hotel exceeded my expectations. Additionally, all of the staff members were incredibly hospitable and friendly. Relaxing on the balcony and enjoying the stunning view of Sun Moon Lake was a highlight of my stay and created wonderful birthday memories. Although the price is a bit high, I believe it is definitely worth it. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable experience.

I spent 3 days 2 night at this hotel and it was quite an unforgettable memorial trip for me. The view of Sun Moon Lake was so remarkable and marvelous. I ordered the Tatami room, which is a traditional Japanese style room with 4 beds and 1 bathtub. It was the first time I have such an experience. Also all the services were outstanding, they’re all serving us with a nice attitude and a greeting smile on their face. I quite like it. Thank you for giving me a great time there.

My family and I went there for a family trip. We loved the service there. Every staff we met greeted us. Room is super clean and nice. Great views from room balcony and rooftop. Perfect location and walkable distance to the Sun moon lake. Breakfast buffets are the best! Highly recommend everything there.

Amazing grounds for many activities. Bike rental on site gave us more convenience. Buffet was good and a wide variety of choices. For vegetarians, the extra dishes served were very delicious. Room was clean and spacious. Special pillow service was a surprise. The hotel put lots of work to keep green throughout, no one off toiletries and plastic. Also provide casual wear outfit that guests can wear within the hotel.

Signed up for a free morning walking tour provided by the resort. Guide was lovely and took us round the walking path in front of the resort with explanations of the lake. For the afternoon walking tour at the 文武庙，Ivy Liu was a young and vibrant guide giving us plenty of knowledge on the walk in the grounds of the huge temple.

Beautiful hotel with great views of Sun Moon Lake and reasonable public access (bus, walk) to tourist attractions (harbors, temples, ropeway). Quality and variety of food at breakfast/dinner buffets was also great. But what makes this hotel stand out most is its excellent service. Attendants are everywhere and always ready to assist you. “Which floor are you headed to?” “Do you need help planning your day?” “Elevator has arrived.” We stayed 5 days and 4 nights, which was apparently longer than usual as the hotel manager went to extra lengths to make us feel comfortable (special desserts, etc.). Every day was well spent though, either at the hotel or in the surrounding area. Highly recommend Sun Moon Lake and especially Fleur de Chine!

Wonderful resort, both for couples or families. Tremendous views of Sun Moon Lake. Indoor water park, excellent buffets and restaurants. Plus an excellent lounge. Language barrier can be tough as we are US English speakers only. But traveling with our son and daughter in law who are both fluent Chinese speakers. Recommend renting bikes in next township over or just walking on the lake path.

Awesome hotel coupled with superb service personnel. Our needs are attained to. It was a shame that we didn’t managed to enjoy the spa facilities as they were fully booked at the time. Could have done my reservation before I arrive.

The room with lake view is beautiful and spotless. The staff are very helpful and friendly. There are lots of activities, including boat tour. The food is amazing. I will definitely visit here again.

Fleur de Chine was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all our expectations. The food, amenities, and views were all exceptional, but what really made our stay special was the care and support of the staff.

In particular, Ryan Lee and his team went above and beyond to ensure my wife had an amazing birthday surprise. Ryan coordinated to have a cake, wine, balloons, a light-up happy birthday sign, and slideshow with pictures of friends and family on the TV in our room when we arrived. In planning the surprise, Ryan was kind and professional in our email correspondence. He organized the photos I sent him and was always prompt and courteous in his replies. He executed the plan perfectly and my wife was elated when we checked into our room, having no idea Ryan and his team were working hard to help celebrate her birthday.

Fleur de Chine provided us with a five star experience. Ryan and his team deserve special credit for their work, but everyone we interacted with from the attendants at the pool and hot springs to the service members at the buffet always greeted us with a smile and genuine kindness. We will be recommending Fleur de Chine to anyone who goes to Sun Moon Lake, as we are already dreaming of the next time we can go back.

Impeccable view from the hotel, rooms are nice and big. Took a short trip to Jinlong mountain to watch sunrise organised by the hotel. Our guide 柏志 Gino was informative and a great photographer. Highly recommend to join.

Beautiful and convenient spot with super friendly crew, the room is clean and the view of sun moon lake is stunning. Definitely recommended for family or couple to come and have fun!

Clean, predictable. Hot Spring sounna is very relaxing. The ancient and disappearing vegetation exhibition is precious and very unique and one of a kind. Educational and environmental sound.

Great view and nice room. Attended eco bottle workshop and morning walking by riverside and green boxes tour which were all good experience.
The toilet space and baby diaper change area in level one (game room area) might need to revisit for further improvement

The hotel has a nice view, especially of the sunset. The newly-renovate lounge is designed with a European setting and has a selection of food and wine throughout the day. Staff at the hotel are very friendly and we had a nice guided tour to the Wenwu Temple. At night, it's very calm sitting by the balcony staring into the quiet Sun Moon Lake.

What a wonderful hotel! Our room and its views are beyond five stars. Hans, Carrie, and Charlene gave us the most attentive service. Thank you! This will be our go-to place at Sun Moon Lake.

Didn’t have chance to stay in lake view room. But Mountain View room still can have a good peek of lake. Room is clean and service is perfect. Yet, I took both dinner buffet and breakfast buffet that both served good quality food with variety choice.

What an amazing and wonderful stay and holiday at Fleur De Chine, do opt for the Ken Can 3-star dinner instead of the buffet dinner and you won’t be disappointed! Kudos to the staff and team especially Tynn at the Front Office for arranging our anniversary special decor and wine for the room. We had the Premier room which comes with champagne brunch and supper with wine and all alcoholic drinks! Best stay at Sun Moon Lake!
