Toucheng Leisure Farm

Booked a 4D3N stay this time as our kids could not forget how much they enjoyed it the first time 3 years ago.

The place is huge, with lots of animals (like goats, buffalos, chicken), play ground, herb garden, a gurgling stream, a very pretty cafe called Green Bar and even a mandarin orange orchard.

There is also a large eco pond with lots of tadpoles, fishes ducks and visiting birds where kids can have hours of fun feeding them.

In the morning, there are organised tours of the farm. We had the privilege of joining one conducted by an ex school principal. He was a very knowledgeable and introduced the rich fauna & flora found on the farm. He even shared the recent problem of a wild mongoose attacking their raised chicken and showed us places where wild boars had rummaged.

Our tummies did not have a chance to rest during our 4-day stay. All 3 meals of the day were included with buffet of traditional Chinese food cooked grandma (阿嬤) style, like oiled rice (油饭), 刈包, vinegar pork trotters, pork with preserved vegetables, steamed chicken, etc. There were also always at least 4 types of snacks like aiyu jelly, green beans and at least 2 types of noodle soup lined up outside the cafeteria.

The staff were also very efficient and friendly. All my emails were replied promptly in English. They even helped to arrange extra activities like watering plants, 搓汤圆 roll tangyuan and picking up leaves for my active kids.

This is a fantastic place for young & energetic kids where they can explore the place safely, even for 4 days in a row without getting bored. As the WiFi is not strong here, they had no chance to use their media pads （which I am not complaining.
It's a true sanctuary away from the bustling city where we can live close to nature.

This place is top notch.
We can enjoy nature, enjoy the activity and enjoy the food.
This is Halal certified accommodation.
For muslim, we can enjoy the food to our heart content, using prayer room and using muslim friendly facilities.
Totally worth visit!!

Great place for family outing. Selection of DIY, good range food, free flow of local deserts and hot snacks, young and old enjoy feeding the animals whilst exploring the natural beauty.

My kids, aged 3 and 5, had so much fun with all the DIY activities available. The staff were all helpful and very accomodating. Food was good too.

Leisure Farm is owned by my aunt, a truly generous woman who knows how to create quality experiences. In the 10 years that have passed since I've seen her, the farm has improved and modernized in incredible ways while still staying grounded to the roots of the land and historical culture.

My friend and I's experience was full of wonder walking along the forested paths with many tropical creatures to see such as butterflies and frogs. At night, there were fireflies to bring magic to the air. At the top is a winery where we tasted the unique and exquisite brewed drinks and sat in gardens so gorgeous, you know that you are in paradise! Get the room with the view of you can. It's worth it!

Great place to relax to enjoy a rustic lifestyle. Sky-lantern activity was a fun experience!

Thank you to our wonderful quick but professional tour by Mr.Hunter Lin who is a manager for this farm and knows all tiny and large secrets about this absolutely awesome 100 hectars Agricultural and Enviromental park which has a plethora of unique nature tours for kids and adults.
Your kids can learn about what vegetables are grown in here and which are good for what or which ones are used for Chinese medicine, same with insects and even bigger animals like Taiwanese Water Buffaloes or Wild Chickens.
Theres also a very uniquely arranged open dining space which is called Green Garden and it serves only organic food with veggies right from the farm prepared by Chef from Swiss. You may book a course for 20 persons or more which gonna be specifically prepared right to your private group. Whats more, all dishes come out with variety of decorations made by local landscape designer and "served" along with freshest food.

Certified moslem place which provided halal food and prayer room. Really nice environment and really recommended for family with kids. Hope we can stay longer there!

Awesome vacation spot for families with young children! We loved every minute of our stay there.

My friend and I stayed in Toucheng leisure farm for 3 days and 2 nights. We decided to come here to take a rest and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Our room was located in a building on the hillside so there were a few stairs to go up but when I got into the room I was very impressed because the space was very clean and private. It had a small terrace with a scenic view which was good for getting some fresh air in the morning. There was even a view from one of the washrooms. This room had 2 floors and 2 double bed in each floor and 2 washrooms.The bed was big enough for 2 people and it was very comfortable --not too soft and not too hard.The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating despite the slight language barrier. At the dining hall they served a wide selection of delicious and healthy food using organic vegetables planted by the farm. I had a wonderful stay here!

Very good food. Also it is good to stay at. The scenery is nice and they do cool stuff.

This farm is definitely a good place for relaxing. They managed to provide more variety of food.
