Luodong Night Market

Organised night market with superb local food ranging from freshly made meatloaf, scallion puff, peanut ice cream roll, oyster and herbal duck noodles, make your own bubble tea which is a scam 😂, the longest fries in the world! 🍟 to lots of snacks in between and you could sit down for a game of scoop fishing with ur kids too. Dogs are allowed here beautiful to see corgi!

Luodong Night Market (羅東夜市) - the largest night market in Yilan - a place for us to hunt for our favourite street food. Delicacies here include mutton soup, meat skewers 肉串 and of course scallion pancakes 葱油饼. A vibrant place to experience the sights and smell of delicious street food!

A traditional small town market full of human touch and rural charm in the Republic of Taiwan, it is worth exploring. LTHlth

Great night market, so many food and store. Parking space is big. Recomended

Great atmosphere, easy for car park and access, food and the crowd was just right, plenty to see and explore, I like it.

This is how night market should be like. Many youngsters, locals here. Very young vibes. Great food too. Easily one of the better night markets in Taiwan. But long queues. Need to queue for 30 minutes for the skewers. But worth the wait.

Even though Yilan rain 🌧 most of the time thru out the calendar year but its still a must to visit one of the well known night market. Prices are quite reasonable. Stall owners are friendly.

The bustling night market was filled with many locals, easily one of the better ones in Taiwan. The liveliness from the youths probably from the nearby high schools lifted the spirits when I was there. Many stalls have long queue, can't go wrong following the crowd. Recommend the grilled pork wrapped in Sanxing spring onion (that I saw many crop fields of it around yilan 🌾). Their scallion pancake is in a unique shape too.

Short distance but value for foods and great night market

Luodong Night Market is one of the biggest night market in Taiwan. This night market has lots of food stalls and loads of food served. It's located at about 700 metres from Luodong Station. Visited the night market on Sunday and it is jam-packed.

Variety of food options in this market is just incredible - traditional Taiwanese snacks, fruits, fruit juices, bubble tea, Scallion Pancakes, Noodles, fried chicken, Sea food (fried squid and octopus), Sweet Potato Balls, Chicken Shawarma, Donuts, Ice cream roll with peanuts, Cheese Hotdog, and ..... List of food available is very big.

It's the biggest in Yilan with lots of foods choice. If there is only one night market you can visit in Yilan, this is it

A lively night market with food that suit everybody’s palate

One of the more happening night markets with rows of clothing stores and snacks stalls. Recommended by a local guide on the way back to Taipei from Hualien day trip. This night market which is located in Yilan is known for all its onion dishes as per the guide. Good place to drop by if you have a car. Went on a Saturday night, crowded as expected but it seems like a favourite place to hang out over the weekend for the locals too.

Big night market. Lots of stalls selling a variety of goods and foods. Several shops selling mutton soup which is highly popular - must try 阿灶伯, long queue but move fast. Suggest to come when they open, eat, and walk around and eat again 😋

If you stay at Jiaoxi, come take local train, around 20mins ride. Or stay in Luodong for a night in 琉戀客佔 Boutique Hotel which is a two minutes walk to night market and a four minutes walk to the train station.

A huge night market in Yilan County that should satisfy experienced night market goers. Food options are plentiful and it's not difficult to keep up with the popular food stalls via a Google search. The usual night market shops with their wide variety of goods, ranging from clothes to accessories, phone casings, children apparel, foot wear, trendy bags, umbrellas, cosmetics, stickers & souvenirs etc.

Be prepared for crowds when visiting on weekend nights especially, and parking can be difficult if you happen to be on a self-drive holiday. Best way to find parking during peak hours is to park at multi-storey carpark at a nearby building that has shops in it. It's right next to the night market but located at the back, away from the front entrance of the night market.

Okay, same old night crowded night market with games and food. We had mutton noodles, oyster. And many massage centres nearby

Love this night market located in Yi Lan. Visit on weekdays to avoid crowd!

Had some really good eats on this trip. Get those bacon wrapped in onions (Yilan’s green onions are the best!). There’s also a stall next to the post office that sells fried preserves eggs and a neat&shrimp white cake that is also fried. Sooooo good!

Typical Taiwan night market. Super busy. Food everywhere. Nice layout and more variety than some so an extra star for that! Must go if you are in this area! Don't eat anything before you go because you will want room for all the great snacks and treats.

It is not crowded on Wednesday night (but on holidays and weekends, im sure it is) There are many food stalls open - try their scallion snack (bacon wrapped scallion, pancakes, bun etc), mutton soup, duck meat, fried century egg snack, etc.
