A park with a rich cultural atmosphere. It’s a great place for the whole family to hang out, eat, and learn new things. There are many places to check in here. Each has its own characteristics, making those who love to take pictures linger and have a great time taking photos. This is one of the most remarkable old building preservation and renovation parks in Yilan.

Sprawling compound with multiple buildings of traditional architecture, it’s good place for family hangout.
The layout reminisces of ancient town full of nostalgic flavors, there are theatrette performances, Chinese opera shows, art and craft classes and etc.
This is truly an enriching experience for one to enjoy the richness of Taiwanese culture.

Visited during a stormy day. It would be nicer if it is sunny. The park is big and There are a lot of DIY art experiences for kids. We were only able to spend a couple of hours. I would recommend spending the whole day here if kids are into arts.

I would definitely recommend to visit the Traditional Arts Village!
We went there with a big group and went around to take a look at all the different expositions. The village consists of numerous little shops that sell mostly handcrafted items. A lot of shops offer DIY courses as well.
The whole village is really pretty and has a lot of nice places to take pictures.

We visited on a Sunday and it was raining but there were still a lot of people so keep that in mind!

I had such a great time! The shops may be a bit expensive but all of them are amazing with nice staff and it’s possible to book diy sessions
The most I enjoyed the theatre! I don’t speak Mandarine that well and it was still great to experience, very motivated and talented cast. I laughed so much and was amazed by their performance - well done! ✨

The various performances and musical events that take place within the museum add a dynamic and cultural touch to the visit, making it even more engaging.

One noteworthy feature of the National Center of Art Museum is its inclusivity. It offers a Muslim prayer room, ensuring that all visitors can comfortably practice their faith during their visit. This kind of thoughtful consideration is truly commendable.

The integration with the Moment Hotel is a convenience that can't be overlooked. It allows visitors to extend their stay if they wish, making it easier to fully explore all that the museum has to offer. Plus, the spacious parking lot ensures that finding a spot for your vehicle is hassle-free.

When it's time to refuel, the food court doesn't disappoint. You can find a variety of delicious options to satisfy your cravings, making it a great place to take a break and enjoy a meal.

Overall, the National Center of Art Museum in Yilan is a fantastic destination for families and art enthusiasts alike. The arts center is a great spot in Yilan to spend the whole day. Entry for the regular ticket is 150 NTD, with this you can access everything within the premises, the boat tour is excluded and costs extra. They offer several performances everyday and they are all worth seeing. They don't have English translations for the shows but nonetheless they are worth checking out. There's several shops/stores within the premises that promote old Taiwanese craftsmanship with enthusiastic clerks. Definitely check this place out when in Yilan. There's free scooter parking spots and car parking is also provided. Within the premises are also convenience stores and eating locations.

If you have kids this is a place worth to visit and give it half a day as there are many things that your kid can do. Many of the shops has its own working area where you or your family members can make your own art work. Will visit here again as time wasn’t enough for us this time…
It has parking lot and you need to buy entrance tickets which can be done at entrance.

There are a lot of old streets in Taiwan because of their history background. But this National Center is a must visit for all, including our Muslim ummah as you will feel at home when it's time for salat, in Sha Allah 😊.

I must confess I had fun. I am attracted to nature more than history, but how things get made was surprisingly interesting. We signed up via Klook and added a DIY event to the experience. After walking around and tasting some of the food, we went back to Black jade artisan pieces and bought a souvenir pendant, learned how to polish the semiprecious stone with their expert guidance, and had fun and satisfaction of doing it and accomplished something artsy.

Highly recommend spending a whole day here. It was only an hour long taxi drive to get here from Taipei. The art pieces and galleries are interesting and the employees are very accommodating and would give you the story of certain artworks. There are places for diy crafts for kids and adults that take 30-90 minutes to complete. You can also watch performances during the afternoon.

I like this Centre very much... It features many local & traditional arts that may be lost if not preserved and cultivated by new generation. It's like many museums in one place. The place is spacious, well maintained. All the sales assistants in the shops are very willing to explain the items even if we didn't buy.

The different arts with DIY experiences (additional payments) that were featured are glass forming, pottery, woodworks, textile dyeing, Taiwan's black jade, traditional Chinese medicines, stone workshop.

It also has slow boat ride along the river that has beautiful scenery.

Last but not least, food street with a few good sized restaurants.

Wished we came early in the day to visit every shop and experience every DIY ... ☺

This place is in Yilan, we went there for a trip. The experience of authentic traditional Taiwanese culture can be seen here. The street is maintained nicely, they have various food options, lot of places to buy souvenirs. It's quite expensive to buy things there. You can try boating in the lake over there. Sitting there itself is so soothing and fun.

Really great place to spend the day. While an hour by car, it had things for everyone. Kids loved the stores, candy, boat ride and feeding the fish. Pulled fortunes in one store Many DIY activities to choose from. Both educational and fun.
