Santorini Villa Waiao

We've traveled A LOT in Taiwan, and this is now one of our favorite places. An absolute gem! Huge, spotless rooms with very comfy beds, giant bathrooms with great tub & shower, and big fluffy towels. Large screen TV and several nice sitting areas so you can hide out from the summer heat til it's time to hit the beach. We traveled with a child, a teen, and my elderly inlaws and *everyone* was super happy. We had the top floor room with the incredibly spacious patio (so great for hanging out with fam or friends!) and the first floor room with the splashpool (that our 9 y.o. lived in when he wasn't in the sea). The minibar is well-stocked with drinks and snacks at reasonable prices. I particularly appreciated the Nespresso - a cut above the usual packet coffee. The location couldn't be better - 10 min walk from Wai'ao Train Station - right on the beach, with a gorgeous view of Guishan. The manager, Anje, is as responsive, helpful and sweet as can be. She made our teen feel cool AND our parents feel welcome with her excellent Mandarin. Resort-style rooms at bnb prices - a great value and highly recommended!

We had an amazing time at Santorini Villa! We had the ground floor vila which had a dipping pool and space to hang out on the patio, overlooking the ocean. Staying this close to the beach is a treat in Waiao. The room itself was very spacious and clean. We were able to use the rooftop space to grill (large gas grill) and hang out in the evening. Anje was very helpful and made our stay one to remember. Highly reccomend!!

If you’re a beach lover or just enjoy the view, this is your place. Like Shakira’s hips don’t lie, these pics don’t lie. The hostess with the mostess, Angie, really added to the amazing experience. We are forever grateful!

Great location and amazing clean and cozy room. The room was stocked with everything we needed, and even things we didn't even know we needed. The room even had an espresso machine.

There's a tub in the room and two beautifully located pools in the facilities. Started every morning with a cup of espresso, a delicious breakfast provided, and afternoons at the beach.

Definitely will be coming back.

Absolutely Beautiful location and accommodation!Close to the paragliding spot - 10 minutes drive! More than Friendly service and Very comfortable stay! Everything that you need and more for a good chill session and good vibes. Close to some street bars along the beach as well. A true GEM💎

Best spot in WaiAo. The hotel manager Anje makes all the difference. Great place for kids too. There's no convenience stores nearby and not many restaurants, but get on your bike! Or make a bbq.

Privately owned beach front Villa, three floors and four room! Mini bar, comfy bed, fantastic bathroom and seaview balcony!

If you want to get away for a weekend, this is a perfect place. It’s almost as if you are staying at your friend’s place for the weekend with the great hospitality from the manager.

I cannot stop thinking about how excellent the stay at Santorini was! We had the first floor room, which comes with a private pool. Barely a 10 STEP walk to the beach, everything was completely spotless. Super comfortable beds, the minibar, everything! From booking, and throughout our stay, everything was exceptional. Very convenient, relaxing, and I was messaging people all weekend arranging our next stay!

A lovely place to stay. Spacious rooms that are well-equipped (the mini bar and snacks were in particular much appreciated!). Incredible views from the balconies — the beach is even closer than it looks in the pictures! And the hostess is highly welcoming and accommodating, not to mention knowledgeable! Highly recommended.

Such an amazing place - great indoor/outdoor spacious rooms and spaces. Very “neighborly” feel so if you’d like to mingle with the other guests it is welcomed and encouraged but also quite private if that’s your thing, too. Anje (the manager) does a terrific job of helping give guests options for everything from transportation to the place, things to do, places to eat and so on. The beach access can’t be beat and it feels very private, with a short walk towards the more publicly accessed areas as well. Well and thoughtfully equipped rooms - we lived the scent in the linens so much we asked for it and now spray it on our at home in Taipei!

One of the best places I have ever stayed. Anje made all the difference with her inviting and warm personality and made us feel very welcome and at home. An extra bonus as an avid coffee lover, was that there is a Nespresso machine in every room! All in all it was a very memorable stay and I would recommend this for anyone that wants to break away from the city life for some waves, wine and relaxation!

Spacious rooms with attention to detail and a personal touch makes for a very comfortable and memorable stay. Anje, the hotel manager, went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed - From refilling bottles (water or gas for the braai), getting ice, organizing beach gear or even a Jägermeister fixer upper when we needed it. A beautiful villa with an amazing host!

Awesome place to chill for the weekend with friends or family. The villa is well equipped. Clean rooms, great ocean view and friendly host. Anje is super helpful and responds quickly. Definitely going back again. Highly recommended!

Would give 6 stars if I could. Amazing location on the Wai Ao beach. Rooms are clean and comfortable (there's even heating for winter time!). Hotel manager is exceptional and turns a hotel stay into an experience.

This is the first choice for vacation or party in Waiao.
