Fo Guang Shan Great Buddha Land

Very amazing view and really big place. You need about half to a full day to discover all things inside. Keep in mind it's pretty far from the city, so check the bus schedule.

Went on a Tuesday when the main Sitting Buddha was closed and got to explore the other side of campus with my mom from the US

Fantastic Experience!!

Peaceful and beautiful. Went on a weekday and found the place almost empty which was great. If you are not in a rush, take time to admire the various pagodas, museums, side temples etc. we spent a day and a half but went at a slow pace. Could easily start at 9am or so and cover in 1 day but you will be exhausted. Food onsite is good. The nugget on 2nd floor is ok for the price. The 1st floor restaurant is amazing.

The place where you feel like in the sky. It is just walking distance from Museum... I really likethe place. The air is fresh, the noice is so nature and the ambiance is very spiritual... May Buddha bless us with good things in life... 🙏

This is the Big Buddha city of FGS and this is the Big Buddha of FGS before the Big Buddha in Buddha Memorial center is built. Once you walked up the trail to the Big Buddha city you will see hundreds of Buddha statues at top of the hill. You can view the Buddha memorial center from afar and the GAO-PING RIVER down at foothill when the weather is nice.
