UNION HOUSE Lukang

Lukang is an ancient city, and my stay after the workshop was pleasant. The hotel is beautiful, with excellent service from the staff. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, featuring large bathrooms with separate toilet and shower areas. The bathroom amenities are complete, including a hairdryer, complimentary bottled water, tea, and snacks. Breakfast starts at 7 am with a diverse selection. The hotel provides tea and coffee throughout the day.

However, the walls are somewhat thin, allowing the sounds from adjacent rooms to be audible, including conversations and somewhat loud noises.

Excellent hotel, service far exceeds that of hotels in larger cities/countries. Rooms are spacious with plenty of toiletries available. The shower gel smells divine!

Super nice and modern hotel. Special mention to staff 黏嘉萍. We booked 2 rooms and only check at 7pm. when my parents first went down for breakfast, she remembered there’s another group who is not there yet and arrange a big table for us so that we could dine together. Impress by how she remembered and could only attribute to her doing her homework or impressive memory (though I couldn’t recall she was at check in desk). Lucky hotel for having her.

The only thing is that I booked a room with bath tub but the one I was given doesn’t have one.

This hotel has the most amazing service. The staff are all incredibly friendly and always seem to jump up to help with anything at all. The breakfast buffet was huge with food options from many countries. They can handle different food allergies if you let them know ahead of time. The location is fantastic. Though on a busy street like most city streets, just next to the hotel is one of those quiet little streets that goes to the market and old street.

I would give them 6 stars for the service.

From the hotel it is easy to go anywhere in Lukang and visit the beautiful city, its tourist attractions and more other interesting places.

Any kind of food, restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
We use mainly public transportation and then you need to be a little more prepared. Easiest is bus and taxi. The costs for that are very low and shouldn't stop you.

The breakfast has everything you need. Very rich, a lot and various sorts of drinks and food. I think everybody can find food and drinks of their liking.

If we are to return to Lukang, we surely will consider going back to this hotel.

This is a small hotel in the heart of old town. Don’t expect a huge selection of different breakfast foods, most of which are Asian style with just a few Western style items.

But the service here is exemplary. The front desk staff are very attentive, whether it’s opening the door, checking items, calling the elevator, etc. Felt even more personal than many high end, larger hotels. Our kids were also offered tokens for the cotton candy machine located just outside the front doors.

We definitely plan to stay here again the next time we’re in the area.

Excellent location clean and large rooms with excellent service but parking is a 10min walk

The hotel is centrally situated, walking distance to all the key sightseeing spots. The staffs are super friendly and attentive. The rooms was clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet have good varieties of local cuisine and delicious. The only negative thing is the parking lot is few hundred meters away.

My friend and his wife stayed here for three nights and I came to the hotel to pick them up for sightseeing.

All hotel staffs and so welcoming, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful which leads me to believe they have some wonderful training program that fully executed.

There is a "Bible" with photos and character for evey needs of their guess from pharmacy to different restaurant to shopping etc.

The breakfast also serve many local delicacy in a small portion which you can try many different kind without over eating.

Also conveniently located near many famous sightseeing places and famous local food specials.

Hotel provides very friendly service. Rooms are clean and very update.

We spent one night with our two kids and enjoyed our stay very much. The view over longshan temple is nice, the room was clean, modern and quiet, and the breakfast delicious with lots of choice. The hotel location is very convenient. Staff was friendly and very helpful, with full service in English. 10/10 would recommend and stay there again.

The hotel is conveniently located in Lukang and puts you in walking distance to all the main tourist attractions. The room we stayed at was very spacious, clean, and very comfortable and comparable with a lot of luxury hotels in Taiwan. The staff that helped us were also very friendly and responsive to all our questions and requests. Highly recommend!

Lovely and modern boutique hotel in the centre of Lukang. The hotel overall makes a very clean and luxury impression. The staff is exceptionally welcoming and kind - complementary coffee and cold drinks are offered at arrival. The rooms are beautifully furnished in a modern style with a distinct Taiwanese spin. The bathroom is designed with high quality materials and very clean. The hotel offers a dinner service that requires pre-booking. Lukang city centre offers many great snack-like food options but it is hard to find a proper restaurant to have a family dinner. Overall, the hotel can be highly recommended is more equivalent with 4-Star superior hotels. 😊

The best hotel I have ever stayed in Lukang

The rooms are in a modern look, with an Asian flare. We had a room with two king-size beds that were really comfortable. Everything was provided like shower gel, shampoo. Even body lotion and conditioner. The welcoming bag in the room provides also good tea with a teapot set to cook it in. The beds are really comfortable and high class. In the room also a bathing mantle is provides for each person, in an Asian style. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. The breakfast also is really good. It is mostly an Asian breakfast buffet, bit you can also get toast etc. It also includes fruits and cakes from the local town.

I heard about Lukang many times but visited this week for vacation. Location of this hotel is excellent, very near to most attractions in walking distance. To the best restaurants as well. Room is so clean and well equipped with high quality materials. Modern design and cozy environment makes me come back. I strongly recommend this hotel for family trip and to lovers. breakfast buffet was so excellent and they even severed Papaya with sliced lime on my personal request!!!

Nice and clean hotel and overall is neat. Varied breakfast buffet. Employées are friendly and attentive. The only tiny imperfection if I really have to say, is the gym which is too small with one bike and one treadmill.

Location location location. This hotel is walking distance from many attractions in Lukang. The rooms are comfortable and staff is very accommodating. The coolest thing about this place is that breakfast and evening snacks are sourced from famous small eats places close by. I highly recommend staying here if you plan on visiting Lukang.
