奧之海潛水旅宿 Odyssey Divers Hostel

We had a great time diving with Odyssey. The staff members are very friendly and spoke English.
We were able to dive with some turtles and also saw pretty sea slugs.

Did 2 fun dives with Odyssey's Jun (or Max? 😁) First dive in a great while, saw bunch of turtles which was cool!

The instructor did an awesome job guiding us how to enjoy a proper, safe, and enjoyable dive all in perfect English. Instructor is also a good and fun company, very considerate too as I had a hard time walking due to an injury so he took us to an easier entry point but with equally awesome diving experience.

Equipments looks new, they also helped took care of everything for the diving - very reliable and safe. Highly recommended for anyone visiting XiaoLiuQiu!

Jun is a great and funny instructor, the rental gears and equipments he provides are also great quality too, we had so much fun on the 2 dives with him; next time if we come back to Xiao Liuqiu again we’ll definitely come to his shop again 👌🏻👍🏻

Diving with Jun was awesome!! Did my last dive one year ago and Jun let me know about my mistakes under the water. He is very helpful! I really enjoyed diving with him. His English isn't bad and the equipment is very nice!

And most importantly, he never forget taking great pictures. I highly recommend diving with Jun!

Definitively go diving with Jun from Odyssey. He's a very kind, good English speaking and knowledgeable diver. His gear is new and in great shape. On top of that he takes awesome pictures!

Highly recommended! For a water-phobic person like me, my instructor Yoyo has made the introductory diving experience super calm! Of course there's times of freaking out, but all went well, thanks to her!

I did 4 shore dives with Jun which were all wonderful! Jun is a professional dive guide and has a clean and tidy shop. Xiaoliuqiu has many beautiful dive sites where you can see a lot: turtles, nudibranchs, octopus, lion fish and many more 🐠.

Wonderful dive experience with Jun. Excellent equipment. We felt safe and confident.

Since I've tried Odyssey Divers Hostel and stayed there for many times, I can say this is really the greatest.
You will feel so comfortable and freedom staying there. Environment is simple, easy and nice. Don't expect a 5-stars resort, but you will find all you need to enjoy your stay. Always you will meet cool and nice people there. Amazing place to get new friends.
The owner and instructor Jun is really cool, he can speaks English and he teaches very very good with high skills seriously and having fun, letting you enjoy the wonderful scuba diving world.
Had many fun dives and also took AOW license with him there.
Have been in Xiaoliuqiu many times, and I have tried different diving shops in which almost I had good experiences with some exceptions.
If you are looking for a nice place to enjoy your stay with cool people, nice environment and great instructor and dive guides, then choose Odyssey.
If you will be Jun's student, getting license with him, you will be a cool Diver with great skills.

We had a great fun dive with Odyssey. The instructors were calm and patient. They do a really good job at teaching you the basics before taking you on the dive. Check them out if you want a chill, safe, and enjoyable dive!

Great and chilled place to take leisure dives. Immensively professional and I felt very safe. Thank you for helping my brave my first shore dive. Will be back here for sure in the future! ϋ

Did 2 fun dives with them just after the new year and had a great experience. In both dives saw a heap of Turtles. Sure you can see them snorkeling, but diving will take you were they swim around you in full grace. It's unbelievable and truly magical.

I went one on one with Jun , who is a great diver, and and awesome person. He speaks good English and knows the island and conditions well to take you out to the best places depending on the day you dive. He also takes some incredible photos and videos. The equipment I rented looked new and the BCD had integrated weights instead of a belt which was nice.

If you are looking for a reliable place to dive with safety and no rush, this is it. If you not sure it's worth it, trust me , it is

Awesome seaturtle dive! The dive instructor speaks good english and the manager of the diveschool joined and took lots of cool photos! Very big recommendation!!!

Scuba diving was a new and a great experience! I felt nervous at first because I never done it before, but the staff was super cool and patient. One of the instructors knew Spanish which was a surprise for me and my friends.
Besides that, the Hostel's rooms and bathroom were clean and comfortable enough

Visiting Taiwan and wanna have an amazing dive experience? That’s the place to go!! I prefer it over Bali to be honest. And Odyssey is the diving school you wanna use. Easy communication via Line and perfect arrangements. Really safe and care taking and awesome photos as you can see. Perfect English as well. He gave me the pictures and videos for free which is insanely kind. Also really cheap! 10/10 for sure! :)

Diving with Jun was very fun. He is very professional and his equipment is very good. He has a great English and we had some really good conversation between one dive to another. He showed me some very interesting ocean life and of course some sea turtles (as liuqiu island has many of them). The price per dive was a bit higher than other places but I think it was worth it. He also have a cool hostel but I didn't stay there.

The place/room where we stayed is comfortable enough.

I stayed 2 nights at Odyssey where it’s a Taiwanese old style house has been turned into a diving backpacker B&B. Although it’s a budget accommodation which still clean and cozy. Super helpful staff and experienced instructor. I finished 4 dives, saw a ton of sea turtles and really enjoyed it.

Had an awesome experience with Odyssey Divers. Jun and his team are all super friendly and Jun speaks perfect English so it was really easy to organize everything. I'm not a certified diver so did the experience diving dive and it was great. They equipment is all in great condition and Jun was patient in explaining everything and was very attentive during the dive to make sure that everything was ok. If you want to do a dive on Liuqui island I highly recommend Odyssey Divers.
