Black Devil Cave

The caves are really cool, and the full loop has a lot of ocean view points, would recommend going through the full loop!

Area of caves with a dark history. The paths can be very narrow and low however they aren’t long, just a few metres and you’re out the other side.

The main attraction here though are the viewing platforms. From here we could see wild sea turtles swimming in the sea!

There is an area selling food and drink if needed and toilets available.

Super interesting and short hike (around 1 hour if you frequently stop to take pics or just admire the view). There are multiple scenic spots as well as places to enter (some nice cave systems). It's a worthwhile activity if you are planning on visiting the island. The tickets are pretty cheap specially considering that one ticket will allow you to enter all of the other cave systems and hikes around the island (beauty cave 1 and 2, wild boar hike, and the black dwarf cave).

Nice cave. Will take around 30-45minutes if you spend some time to slowly walk and explore.

Being here 3 times but miss the cave. As you walk in, right side is the cave and left is ocean walkway. Cave is hard to pass by if you don’t have light. Only skinny people able to pass through.

Beautiful to explore but some walk way has tight space to pass through so must be careful to not bump your head into the rock.

It's a lovely Cave but don't expect it to be large or magnificent. There are several small and tight sections but not difficult to get in and out of. There are large sections where the sea can be seen. Those views are gorgeous. It's worth going to.

Perfect place to get close to nature, clean environment, fresh air, and very peaceful place.

Really cool cave system with an interesting story. Apparently some escaped slaves killed a bunch of British sailors and in retaliation a British warship burned the caves and killed the slaves. This happened in the 1600s but it still spooked me

A beautiful place with a disturbing history. The paths are easy to use. However, down the first set of steps, if you take the path on the right then expect a tight squeeze. Those of us who are large might have some difficulty. Let's not get stuck. Many places to take some beautiful photos.

If there is an elderly lady sitting at the entrance hiring torches, engage her to guide you through the cave. She is encouraging and fun. I suffer from claustrophobia and there is a very tight pinch area. I was going to turn back but she held my hand and calmed me down until I picked up the courage to continue. What a big Sook!!!

The cave is dark and nothing really special. What is special about this place is that it is quite a long route in an amazing natural. It looks like the rain forest here. If you are lucky and you can enjoy this place by yourself it is magnificent.

Pretty cool place to walk around. Get out of the heat of the day in the shadows of the rocks. Some nice views. Nothing too amazing, but a nice place.

Great place to chill. Nice location. Admire nature perfectly. Try to avoid visiting in afternoon though.

This was a highlight of our day trip to this island. I had no idea what to expect. It was a warm day for us. At the entrance to the cave, we saw a shave ice vendor and enjoyed a lovely treat in the shade with a wonderful view of the ocean. Going into the cave..expect steep steps. Pathways are well maintained and and the trail is a series of uphill and downhill steps. There are about 4 viewing platforms...fabulous view of black coral and ocean. This was an unexpected delight! Thankfully, cold drinks and popsicles were available as we finished.

This is a famous tourist spot to understand the rock formation of the island. The cave is small and narrow with a one-way path. Just get in and you can feel the temperature is much cooler than outside. The path also get you to the coastline for a view as a quick break. Worth to have a look.
