A historical place to visit. Its a good spot for taking follow around and walk on top of the wall!
The place around have a lot of free car park which make this easier to reach and have time go around.

This spot can be done within 10 min. The East Gate is well preserved and in remembrance of the ancient days

Part of the wall has been well preserved, which constitutes a very rare and impressive scene. You can even walk on the historical wall.

漫步在恆春，除了遊走恆春老街以外，也可以嘗試看看走在城牆上，居高臨下觀望恆春街容的感覺。恆春鎮內於清朝時期，因應牡丹社事件的衝擊，所以設縣建城；城分為北、東、西及明都（南）門，現今已有部分城牆因為地震天災、城鎮發展，部分倒塌與修建，僅存北、東、西門有城牆，目前仍可循著過往給人員及馬車爬行的「慢道」到城牆上方。在午後、晚間，可以在城牆上經常看到居民在城牆上慢走運動，是恆春特別的人文風景。

恆春古城有台灣目前保留最完整的城門，除了南門外，東西北門皆可登上城門。南門位於交通要道圓環中；西門位於鬧區，出現在海角七號電影場景中，步行10分鐘可達恆春老街特色商圈；北門殘留的城牆最長，因為附近建築物不多，登上城門有良好視野可一覽恆春市景；東門的城牆與城門保存最完整，登上城門可看到砲台、砲孔，遠眺三台山。
