On My Way Taitung Hostel & Backpacker

The hostel has a very soothing and comfy feel to it. The area is quiet and there is little traffic.
The hostesses were super friendly and helpful. One of them sat down with me for quite some time, helping me out with where I could go to eat, to shop, see and whatever else.
Rooms are clean and the beds are perfect. I slept fantastic here.
Time and money well spent. Thanks to all the staff working there!

Very clean room and welcomed support for the accomodation.
The hostel is very close to the station and is also possible to get scooter nearby. So convenient.

Staff are super friendly and helpful. Helped me plan my trip to Green Island. The rooms are super clean and have all the necessities. It's a bit far from the city, but close to the station and you can rent bikes for free.

Fun little hostel close to the train station. You can use the 4 bicycles to go to downtown Taitung or take the bus at the train station.

The staff gives great advice on what to eat here so be sure to ask about it.

Great hostel, nicest staff and great facilities. Location is good for public transportation, but far from city center, but the hostel provides free bicycle to solve this problem!

There was a typhoon and they provided a postcard drawing workshop to entertain us while being inside. It was really fun and the staff was super nice! Would recommend it a lot.

Short walk from the train station. Was able to leave some luggage when I had a trip to Lanyu island. Staff very helpful and made a delicious regional 'daylily' soup for all the guests to try. Would recommend.

The location is perfect just 5-7 mins walk from the Tainan station. There are some great restaurants nearby so you don’t need to worry about food. The room is comfy and makes me feel like home. There is also a cute doggie. A nice hostel for solo travellers.

An excellent place. Great facilities for cooking and clothes washing, a nice common room downstairs and the place itself is very clean and organized. Location wise it's right next to the train station but relatively remote from the city center - but they compensate on that with lending you a bike for free which made a super fun day.
On top of that the staff was extremely helpful, warm and friendly and I felt very welcomed. Oh and breakfast is included!
Bottom line is I definitely recommend :)

Amazing service! Nice enough placement, a bit far from centre, but next to main station. Good for backpacking !! Unfortunately some other guests did not follow the "quiet" rules, and I got woken up at 6 a.m not getting the sleep I needed. They also offer free breakfast and free bikes for daily rental, which is really nice!!!

-I recently had the pleasure of staying at On My Way Taitung during my visit to the beautiful city of Taitung, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience! From the moment I checked in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere, but it was the staff, especially Yumi, who truly made this stay unforgettable.

Upon arrival, The hosts went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met throughout my stay. Whether it was offering helpful suggestions for places to visit or assisting me with any inquiries, Yumi's attentiveness and dedication to providing outstanding service were evident at every turn.

The rooms at On My Way Taitung were impeccable, and I was pleasantly surprised by their cleanliness and attention to detail. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing me with a restful night's sleep after a day of exploration. The decor was modern and tasteful, creating a calming ambiance that allowed me to fully unwind during my stay.

The hotel's location was also ideal, as it provided easy access to Taitung's vibrant attractions and breathtaking scenery. On My Way Taitung served as the perfect base for my adventures. In conclusion, I highly recommend On My Way Taitung.I'm already looking forward to my next stay and the opportunity to be welcomed back by the wonderful team at On My Way Taitung!

The location of the hostel is 5mins walk from the train station. The hostel environment is bright and clean. And the service is very good. I was cycling, with gear, and heading to other places, the staff helped me out with issues and questions regarding these.

Great place with wonderful amenities! Will be back again! Free bicycle and cute guard dog.

This is a great hostel! It is clean, modern and cosy. The staff are very friendly and they will help you with anything they can. I could practice my Mandarin with them and I had a nice chat with one staff member who speaks Spanish. They even let me use a bike all day for free! The lazy dog is pretty funny as well :D Highly recommend.

The housekeepers are really friendly and helpful. The vibe in living room was chill and exchange between residents from different background was welcomed. The bed was nice and there were enough storage space for your backpack or luggage.

Truly a fantastic place to stay. Roshni, Yumi and Alice were the most friendly young ladies ever. I've never been to Asia before and these people helping me feel so at home and gave me plenty of advice when I asked for it. The rooms are solid like most of the rooms in hostels in Taiwan. The location was close to the train station, but not near the downtown bustle if that's what you want. The service though! That was the best. Give these ladies a raise.
