Taitung Luye high-flying paraglider takeoff field first

All in all a very fun experience! To be honest, the scariest thing was the van right up to the top of a mountain where we took off. I had the feeling that the driver was very familiar with the road, but it was still a bit nerve-racking.

As for the paragliding, they coached us well, in English too, since I am a native speaker and don’t speak Chinese. After takeoff I had a few butterflies in my stomach, but I got used to it and felt safe and comfortable.

I enjoyed the views, and the coach saw that I wasn’t very good at recording video, so he took the GoPro camera and recorded some good video for me.

But brace yourself for spiraling down for the landing. They know what they are doing, but it is a thrill compared to the rest of the ride.

Super fun and totally worth it! Rent the gopro to record your memories!

We had a very pleasant experience paragliding with them. We had five people, so they split us into two groups and even with two groups, it was awesome! We definitely recommend renting the GoPros for video footage (or bringing your own!)

We arrived here with no idea of what to do and ended up paragliding. The staff was super sweet, we missed our bus back to Luye and they dropped us off st the station with their car! Great time and I would definitely recommend!

Wow what an experience the ride from the bottom was as thrilling as floating thru the air like an eagle. Always felt safe, the equipment is in good working order and safety briefing and equipment is well explained. Great experience!!!
