I had the beef stew which would get 5 stars on a cold day. I also got the toasted tortillas but didn't understand that they are a dessert item (sugar glazed). I ended up eating them with the stew anyway. Still good! My son enjoyed the chicken enchiladas and mushroom cream soup.

Pretty decent Mexican bar foods even for a Texas resident located right next to Kuva Chateau Hotel. The bar owner Jack speaks fluent English and offers wonderful hospitality to make yourself almost home. His staffs speak good enough English to continue conversations. Totally unassuming wonderful little bar for tired souls!

Jack is the best bartender in Taiwan. His English is perfect and he makes everyone feel welcome. My company has been drinking at his bar for 20 years. It's become a right of passage to do shots with Jack.

The staff are all friendly and there's usually a pretty good mix of locals and foreigners. I've see nights were it feels like a college bender and others where it was like sitting around a campfire where everyone is singing songs together. The owner, Jack, is usually drinking tequila behind the bar, but he's always very welcoming and keeps accurate tabs.

Love this bar. Good food, very affordable drinks and the owner Jack is the best.
