Shengli New Village Victory Star V.I.P. Zone

The owner and his friend shared with us a really cool piece of history. These Bicycles they don’t make any anymore. This bicycle is perfect for couples. The girl can sit in front with the straight bar and the guy would be sitting behind. And if a girl were to ride this bike, they would put the straight bar to the bottom so that the girls skirt wouldn’t be on top of the straight bar. Very hospitable owner! They also have a underground bunker that they have kept in tact!

Amazing shopping and cultural area to visit and they are still expending. I love how they preserved the old style building, which were build before WWII by Japanese. Highly recommend to visit.

If the weather was not that hot, we might explore more about this place. There are many interesting designed bus stops. And there are many special restaurants worth a try.

A lot of people are here, but still safe n clean.

This is a fantastic place to hangout all day long with friends and family. There are many restaurants, handmade craft stores and cafes for visiting. I believe you will love it as you walk into this area.

A must visit in Pingtung

Centrally located, a very rich history, original built during the Japanese occupation, at most there’s more than 30 Army General living here, now turn into Cultural and Creative Park

This is a very popular/new place to visit in PingTong with lots of restaurants and shops that offer something different from the general shops in the city.
No need to buy the tickets and easy to find the parking lots during weekdays

It's a nice site to walk around and get some street food. I would recommend everyone to walk down here from the station if you are taking the train to come to Ping Tung, provided the weather is nice enough.

I like this place once I saw it while driving by. You can see lots of art paintings on the walls, in the alleys or some other corners, which you have to find them yourself. It’ll be like a process of finding treasures which would be fun.

Good place for family, friends, couples, or yourself to come for a walk. :)

The abandoned veteran village is well preserved, and later it is been brought to a new life through a series of preservation and rejuvenation. Now, there are many shops drawing many visitors on the weekend.

A place showcase the history and add new life to it.

It’s a very relaxing place to go during weekend, many arts industry and old style buildings, many green plants.

It was a wonderful experience walking around these restored Japanese style houses in Pingtung, Taiwan. Come to enjoy good foods and surprising disvoveries.

A well-curated exhibition by Joe Fang, “Our Pingtung Stories” features heartening images, objects, poems and songs in “Chant, Land, Wind, and People”, creating a unique experience at the Pingtung Cultural Center in Shengli New Village by sharing magnificent stories that belong to this strip in the southern end of Taiwan.
