National Museum of Marine Biology & Aquarium

Huge aquarium and they have a very big beluga. Worth the visit if you like marine life! It was also easy to get there because there were a lot of buses going that way since this place is one of the best attraction they have there. If I'm not mistaken they also offer a sleepover at this place.

We spent a whole day here and really enjoyed it. However the food selection available was quite limited and it would be great to get a few more healthy options because the whole aquarium and museum is so large, that families often spend many hours here.
Besides that, highly recommend!

We did the overnight stay and it was really fun! I will say it was a bit harder for those in our family who don't speak Mandarin but the tour guides could answer the English questions posed to them. There were showers (although you should bring your own towels), charging stations for our phones, lockers to keep our belongings and they provide bedding. What a way to start the day to the beautiful fish swimming overhead!

damnnnnn boiiii, most lit lit aquarium by far. i mean the bestttt, out of every single aquarium i’ve been in the entire world. not a single one come close to this. i for real don’t know how much money this place cost. government been spending our tax dollar on this aquarium heh, so don’t waste your tax dollar and go check it out. student price 250btw

What an amazing experience! We had so much fun here. Lots of beautiful and strange looking aquatic life. The waters of Taiwan is too cool 👍 Highly recommend this place. I'm from Canada and we don't have anything like this.

Five stars AND MORE! We opted on overnight stay at beluga tank and it was such an experience! Guides were friendly, knowledgeable and clear. Facilities were great, even shower spray was strong and heated.

Can’t believe the stay was so affordable. We got cultural activities like making ang ku kueh, guided tour at the seaside, lessons on ecology, food and even behind the scenes tour at night.

The belugas were very friendly and even would pose! The tank area quite cold so really need a thick set of pajamas.

If you're visiting Kenting, make sure to visit this must-see spot. The sea views from the facility are stunning and you can easily spend 1-2 hours exploring the aquarium with kids.

Very nice aquarium. Lots of large exhibits. We happened to be there at feeding time for the rays, which was fun to see.

Super cool and memorable experiment! A lot of animals. Can see unique animals! Must visit. They also sell some food! Very large area and a lot of places can be visit!

OMG. This place is so awesome. This is the first time I've seen Beluga whales and they are so happy and healthy. The jellyfish are so mesmerizing 🤩🤩🤩

lots of marine life considering the size of the aquarium. if you can understand mandarin, the guided "behind the scenes" tour is highly recommended. also if it's your birthday month, you get a discount at the store! there's even a water fountain at the entrance area for kids to play on hot sunny days! I would recommend driving if you plan to visit nearby places as they're a bit far for walking. otherwise this is an amazing place to visit with family.

The best section for me is Penguin and Puffin. They are sooo cute

5 stars. This place is huge and wonderful. It has a lot of exhibitions of marine life. Among the most famous are the whales, penguins, dolphins, beluga and jellyfish.
It takes about 3-5 house to know it well, but I recommend to split the visit in two days and to take the night tour in which food and overnight stay are included.
It has three great exhibitions, Water of Taiwan, which shows endemic animals, Coral reefs and Waters of the world.
One of the most outstanding attractions are the underwater tunnels throigh which you can see Marine life.
Totally worth it a couple of days visit.

one place to another is really exciting,from the mountain,, to seeing sea creatures is relaxing,(be adventurous ) i did not put lots of photos and videos,,you must see it for yourself,,😉😉

Beautiful museum & aquarium with many exhibition halls, tunnels and open spaces. We spent almost 5 hours there and we didn't complete it all! It has three big areas (Waters of Taiwan, Coral Kingdom and Waters of the World) all with magnificent displays and exhibitions. Definitely a MUST SEE if you go to Kenting! Perfect for a wonderful family day! 💙🫶👍👍
