Hsi Lo Taiping Matzu Temple, a Taoist temple, worships Mazu as its main deity, although it also worships other deities, including Buddhist deities. While it is an old Mazu Temple which is loved and followed by many Taiwanese worshippers, the Temple actually is also well preserved for its classic style of the temple building structure, artifice, architecture, decoration, and various religious traits.

Although the paintings of its Door-Guard Deities are damaged lightly, its door-guard deities' painting does show the clear drawing of the deities and how local businessmen at the early days donated to the building of the Temple.

As of June 27, 2022, the Temple's 2nd floor and rear worship hall of the 1st floor are under renovation and improvement.

The Temple provides free worship material and incense and is free for access.

Because the Temple is located at the center of Hsi Lo Old Town, a popular tourist shopping area, it can be difficult for the visitors or worshippers to drive and to find parking spots near the Temple. Thus, it is better for the visitors to park their cars at the public parking lots before they reach Old Town's entrance streets.

西螺福興宮位於台灣雲林縣西螺鎮，是主祀天上聖母的媽祖廟，至今已有三百多年的歷史。西螺福興宮是西螺地區的信仰中心，香火鼎盛，每年農曆三月媽祖誕辰前後，都會舉辦盛大的繞境活動，吸引眾多信眾前來參拜。

西螺福興宮的建築規模宏偉，氣勢磅礡，是台灣重要的宗教建築之一。廟內的三川門、正殿、拜殿等，皆有精美的雕刻裝飾，值得細細品味。西螺福興宮也收藏了許多珍貴的文物，包括古匾、古碑、神像等，都是台灣歷史文化的瑰寶。

西螺福興宮是台灣著名的媽祖廟，也是西螺地區的文化中心。每年吸引眾多信眾和遊客前來參拜，是體驗台灣宗教文化的重要景點。

西螺福興宮主祀媽祖，俗稱舊街太平媽，西螺居民稱媽祖宮，是西螺街年代最悠久的媽祖廟。廟中奉祀的媽祖神蹟顯赫，信徒乃相率以太平媽尊稱。廟內保存許多重要的法定文化資產，是臺灣歷史文化的寶庫。

這間廟宇很古色古香，裡面供奉媽祖、觀音、文武財神、土地公、文昌帝君⋯等神明；剖具歷史性！媽祖真的很靈感，帶母親前去參拜，身上的不適立馬被抽離！有點不可思議👍
