It's raod is picturesque. There are very nice cafes and restaurants for local cuisine. Some of the tables are just in the river. The tree is a huge plane and worth seeing. You can visit the small local market as well.

Very busy joint , parking is abit of an issue. Park at the top. Parking is like 10 lira. Make sure to bring your bottles to fill up. The water is so pure and cold. They have a little market there. The tree is very old. It's a must see

Perhaps the biggest plane tree I've ever seen in my life, definitely several hundreds of years old.

An absolute must see for everyone.

As a tourist I find it interesting how locals come here to get the water around because it’s holly. It’s a nice place to have picnic and go for a walk. There’s also a bunch of crystals seller in this area, the vibe and energy on this place is calming.

Rich history. Try the water in the river and buy some traditional Turkish food nearby. Don't miss the ice cream.

Lost and found: large walking stick, now part of local shrubbery. Lost by M. Ozes.

3000 years old tree who Moses is said to have laid his stick and it become a tree.
The water is clean and tasty to drink. There are visible fish in the river near the tree. 40 km. 24 min drive from Antakya.

Very interesting place for those who keen on archeology and ancient history. A plane tree, which is believed to have grown from the staff of the Prophet Moses thanks to the “water of immortality,”. The Moses Tree in the southern province of Hatay is believed to be 3,000 years old.
The atmosphere is unreal.
The Hıdırbey neighborhood, where the Moses Tree is located, is considered worthy to see. It is believed that the tree grew after Moses left his staff there. Besides, only one Armenian village in Turkey is situated over there.

the myth of the tree dear. Moses meets the servant of God called Hizir and they climb the mountain. When they had come to this point Moses sticked his stick on the ground where the 3000years old tree stands now. And Moses drank water from the fountain and when he turned to get the stick he realized a sprout which is now this amazing huge tree.
