Cemo offers a truly authentic Turkish dining experience of Konya Cuisine. The ambiance exudes a genuine feel, transporting you to the heart of Turkish cuisine. The service is notably swift and efficient, ensuring you're promptly attended to throughout your meal.

The standout of our visit was the delightful okra soup. Its flavors were rich and comforting, a testament to Konya’s culinary expertise. The yayık ayran, a traditional Turkish yogurt drink, provided a refreshing accompaniment, slightly sour taste perfectly complementing the flavors of the meal served in traditional copper cup with plenty of foam.

The Bıçak Arası , a signature dish, showcased tender meat atop a thin, crisp crust, delivering a delightful contrast of textures and flavors. Additionally, the fırın kebap was a true highlight, presenting a savory and succulent option for those craving the essence of Turkish grilling. However, it was a bit overcooked, so the outer layer was a bit dry.

We also had Sac Arası as dessert. I thought the original recipe was with Pistachios, however this place claims it’s made with walnut. So, we believe in locals. It was very crispy and delicious.

Overall, Cemo is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic taste of Turkish cuisine in a welcoming setting, with excellent service and standout dishes like the remarkable okra soup, and Bıçak Arası.

Prices were reasonable for this good quality food, especially when you’re trying out a traditional famous cuisine.

Overall score 4.6/5 for Authentic Turkish restaurant

One of the best local restaurants in Konya. It is famous for Bamya Soup and Etliekmek. If you are a tourist and if you search for Konya style dishes, you must try Cemo. Konya is my hometown and I recommend this restaurant as a local.

Total deliciousness along with a fantastic service.

We ordered the Chicken Kebab and the Etliekmek. Both were very delicious, flavorful and more than plentiful.

Ali did an awesome job waiting on us.

I highly recommend it for an enjoyable meal.

Visited while on business in Konya. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the dried ochre soup. The table heaved with freshly prepared local Turkish food. The meal was well presented and the service quick. Recommend a visit if you are in the area. We stopped at this Restaurant on our way to Cappadoccia through Konya, We ordered the Lahmacun and some grills, everything we ate was delicious. We loved it so much we stopped at it again on our way back!

Nice people who speak English when you run out of Turkish. Not a huge menu but varied enough; excellent ayran and food was first class. Recommended!

This place is the king of Etlekmeke (the meat pizzas). We were in Konya for 3 days and had Etlekmeke everyday, and this place was by far the best of all. Plus they have free Wifi :)

Their Bamya corbasi (soup) is best. Worthy to try are also Etli ekmek and Firin kebap. All of these dishes are significant for konya cuisine and it's almost impossible to taste them behind Konya borders.
