The Mulberry Tree Cafe-Restaurant

I was impressed by the reviews for this restaurant so I stopped in. The service was fantastic and I really enjoyed the Adana kabab. I was warned it was spicy but I didn’t think it was but it had great flavour. Really liked the spicy tomato dip that they served with the hot bread.

Simple and cheap café managed by a very warm welcoming Turkish family. We had our breakfast here the pide was so it was so yummy. The famous paspatur pazaar is just a few steps away from this cafe.

Really nice place and reasonable price ! Got a free free as Appetizer and a cay at the end ! Enjoy my meal there alot and would definitely come back again !

Fantastic food, lovely atmosphere and amazing staff. Feels homely, very clean, and always full with a great mix of tourists and locals.

Reasonable prices and generous portions, some nice touches with some included bread and dip before the starters and cup of local style tea at the end.

Incredible food! A must place in Fethiye. Theres A lot of different options in the menu, the shrimp casserole was amazing. Also excellent host and service! Lovely people.

Great food, I had the anatolian meatballs, but foremost great service. Complementary bread, tea and melon and relax atmosphere. Both tourist and local people.

The best dinner I had with friends during a one week sailing trip last summer. Great starters and main courses, reasonable prices, and extremely friendly hosts Jayne and Emin.
Try the chutneys! A great gift to take home for your friends or yourself.
Whenever I‘ll be in Fethiye again, this restaurant will be on my list to visit again.

Situated in the old quarter is a popular meeting place of English and Turks alike, the family run Mulberry Tree Cafe and Restaurant. Run by Jayne and Emin for the past 6 years, this welcoming and relaxed establishment has captured the right balance of ambience and cuisine.
Friendly staff (I've never not tipped) serve oven baked food and other staple choices from a large and pleasing menu.
Home made jams, chutneys and cakes (I've rarely bought anywhere else now) are also available to purchase, something I would encourage, at very reasonable prices. While I was there writing this review a local celebrity popped in for coffee! (See photos)
Capturing the essence of Turkish hospitality and lifestyle this cafe is more than just that and I'll give you an example of this;
While taking a break from sorting out residential paper work my wife and I adjourned to the Mulberry for coffee to discuss our next move. Looking for work my wife had updated her curriculum vitae, ready to impress. We spoke with Emin awhile before my wife ventured if he knew of any opening within the city. He thought for a second before pulling out his phone and making a call.
Within minutes she had an interview and 2 days later employed. Outstanding.
If you visit Fethiye then a visit to the Mulberry is a must. Disappointed isn't on the menu.

Amazing food! The sticky toffee pudding was to die for! Staff were also so friendly and kind! Eat here in Fethiye!

I didn't seek out this restaurant specifically, but it showed as a 4.8 on Google and did notice it had a friendly English name.

One English Breakfast later I hear the wonderful cadence of British patter from one of the owners and a table of guests. I've found the expat scene!

My month-long pork fast was also broken by some wonderful sausages and two chunks of salty bacon like ham. Sorry I don't have a food 'before' picture, but I sort of scarfed it up before I realized what happened.

One of the best food in Fethiye - everything taste like at home , big portions,, reasonably price ( less, than in another places ) , great location and such warm hospitality from owner

Incredibly lovely people. Excellent English, courteous, friendly. Great service without being pushy. Good menu, lovely food and cheaper than many other restaurants. Sitting outside was lovely and it’s not busy that side of the street. Highly recommend.

This is undoubtedly one the best cafés I been to in turkey. Their Turkish dishes were all amazing. Mind you, I am a vegetarian, so could not even try most of the local food . But they had a lot of veg options as well and each dish was just tasty and delicious. Especially liked their Pide and their local breads with dips . Their toffee pudding is also a must have

What makes this place special is the kindness and hospitality of the staff . They were warm and always make you feel welcome. Not to be missed if you are in the neighbourhood , worth it even if you have to travel a bit

Amazing food and incredibly generous hosts. We were only in town for a few days but decided to eat here twice. The food was absolutely amazing and I would post a picture but we all devoured everything before eincould bring out my phone.

Try the Mulberry Chicken. I don't know what they out in the sauce but it's one of the best things I've eaten in quite some time.

We've gone twice and both times the host and kitchen were incredibly friendly and accommodating. My mother has a gluten allergy and they were knowledgeable and made incredible food that she could eat.

Each time we went they brought out amazing home made bread and deserts for free. Definitely a must go to spot if you're in vacation in the area.

Visited Fethiye for the day and was walking round looking for a full english breakfast, was amazing! Fresh food, English sausage and bacon and perfect cooked egg 10/10 recommended will definitely be back staff really friendly thank you

Best meal I’ve had since being in Fethiye! Lovely family run restaurant and their saksuka was amazing!

Ladies who cook the food are doing amazing job! All staff is very friendly, food is delicious, fresh and prepared fast. You will get free starters while waiting for your order and something little after your meal as well. If you are in the area, don't hesitate to visit this place, you will love it.

I was a little hesitant to try this restaurant following one or 2 reviews but I'm glad I ignored them. It was busy for a Tuesday night around 8pm. I had a Musaka which was quality not quantity, perfect for me. My husband had a prawn dish which he said was the best meal he had had this week. We'll definitely be visiting again within the next few days.
