Hilmi Restaurant Balık Pazarı

We ate fresh seafood in a lively atmosphere. I recommend the fried calamari, octopus in cream sauce, fried zucchini flowers and the sea bass. The service was prompt and the place was filled with people. We loved our meal.

Busy restaurant with various choices of cuisine, from starter to main, dish tastes very good. Staff are friendly and recommended good food. Only the seafood platter is with relatively small portions.

The courtyard vibes are good and in town center, easy to access.

I hadn’t written a review for our first time a few weeks ago. It was good. But, due to our fantastic experience this time, I think they deserve all five stars.
The waiter helped us choose our fish - perch. It was grilled to perfection and filleted so no bones … yeayyyy!
Our mezes were delicious and unique.
It is unusually chilly this week so they turned on the heaters for us in order to sit outside.
The music was great. We will definitely be back!

I think this is one of the best fish restaurant in Turkey. The food always good, you can choose how to want your seafood to be prepared. I saw that the bad comments are about the price, but the quality is more importent. Will come back for sure!!

Clean and nice service, as soon as you sit down they will take care of you. Just choose your fish from the market wisely and fresh, they will cook it for you as you wish. Talking about my experience I wouldn’t recommend any other fish Restaurant in this fish market. They are tricky about prices and mezzes.
Oh wait ! In this one particularly waiters speaks English as well!!

Lovely restaurant with great service. We bought our fish and seafood from the market and Hilmi cooked it to perfection. We ordered drinks, fresh salad and beautiful warm bread rolls. Wonderful vibrant atmosphere, attention service and beautiful good quality food. Love love love!

Had an awesome meal here, met the owner (?) Mami (Mohamed) who gave us such an extensive breakdown of how the restaurant works, from choosing your fish, flileting, preparing, cooking and the price too.
We had a selection of meze's to start followed by prawns and then Sea Bass big enough for 4 people. It was all moderately priced and the whole experience totally worth it.
Would advise to book for an evening table.

First of all, let me tell you that the best part of eating at the fisherman’s market is to have the chance to buy the fish directly from the fishmongers, so that you can avoid the usual high fish prices at the restaurants. The waiter at Hilmi Restaurant lead us to their fishmonger of choice, so we could decide what to buy and check the prices before making our decision. The restaurant itself has a wide variety of meze choices. We ordered some ‘special’ mezes, we would not be able to find at any other fish restaurant. They were all very tasty. Would recommend this place to anyone coming to Fethiye!

Fethiye Balik Pazari is a special place, where you can select your fish fresh from the fish vendors and have the restaurants cook it for you. We enjoyed Hilmi's atmosphere, and the appetizers.

The food here is fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to come back again tomorrow. We ordered the fish, calamari and yogurt h with weeds. Everything was 5 stars.

The best seafood restaurant in Fethiye. High quality and tasty food. Some of the waiters speak a little English. The restaurant is located inside the fish market. The smell is not strong.

You can choose any restaurant you want there, but if you are in Fethiye, you should definitely visit balik pazari and eat cheap, fresh, and delicious fish. We chose this restaurant as it was recommended by a friend and we loved the atmosphere a lot. The mezes were great. Alcohol was a bit pricy, but the waiters were quite attentive.
