Aydın Tava Ciğer

Seeing the ultra high number of positive reviews made me skeptical but I decided to try and went for dinner and I'm super happy I did. Waiters are kind, professional and a lot of them around. Food arrived fast, it was piping hot and delicious. The place is spotlessly clean. Very pleasant experience and in my opinion worth the high praise. Prices are on high side, true, but the food is high quality so I think it's fair.

We was for first time visiting Aydin Tava Ciger . The service was absolutely perfect.
It’s clean and cozy place.
I was eat chicken steak ( tavuk biftek ) and it was so juicy and tender. I also recommend the salads . Mine was fresh and so delicious 😋
The toilet was with automatic doors and all the time there was stay lady in women toilet and was tidying up all the time there .

This place is very famous for its fried livers and actually They're the the best in Edirne for sure which is is mostly known and famous of this food in Turkish cuisine but the main problem in here is waiting. The place is everytime full of guests and you have to wait about 5-10 minutes to enter because of how good their food and exactly fried liver is.

Went here in the late afternoon to try the famous tava ciger and a number of other traditional Turkish cuisine dishes. Everything was great and was brought in a rapid succession by different waiters. The place is on a lively street and is quite picturesque. The waiting service can be improved a bit - no one takes away the empty plates unless you ask for it and the guys can be a little more attentive. Anyway I would come here again as the overall quality is generally good and the prices are low. Our bill was about 1000 trl and all 4 of us had a hearty meal. Paid with Revolut inside, on the counter - no issues. Toilets are on the third floor and were clean and smelled good 😊.

Everytime i went to Edirne, this is the first place that im going to.
I love how they cook Ciger very well also the spicy. As asian in Turkey its difficult to get level spicy that we have in our country. But this place cure that feeling of longing 🥰

Aydın Tava Çiğer is a famous restaurant with over 25 years of experience.
They are located in the center of Edirne only reachable by walking. But there are couple of parking lots around the main city.

The restaurant itself has many tables to serving the customers. The staff is friendly and focus on there work. Small talk is not included. ;)

Ciğer and meat dishes are they main. We had the standard menu with ciğer which was really delicious. Especially the delivers side dishes (however they are called) are incredible.

All in all a recommended spot to visit when you are around.

Very tasty food and great service! I personally prefer the thin fried chicken instead of fried liver. There’s always a queue but it’s very fast. Recommend

The taste is not for everyone but I 3njoyed every bite. If you told like the smell of lamp/goat order chicken breast.

Aydın Tava Ciğer is the most famous fried liver restaurant in Edirne. You should not miss it if you ever visit Edirne's centrum, even though you usually don't like liver it is worth trying! The dish is traditionally served with some vegetables - tomato, onion, pepperoni, and an authentic spicy chilli sauce. Besides of the dish, the location is modern, the service friendly and very fast. There are also a lot of similar dishes with liver and meat, as well some salad options. One of my favorites in Edirne.

Greta place with great food. The extras offered on the house are great ( a meal by themselves). The liver was awesome and everything was super. The service ews great and fast. They don't serve alcohol but it mustn't be a down factor. The food makes up for it.

We go there every single time we visit Edirne which is at least two times a year and for years we have zero disappointment of the place. Absolutely incredible and delicious food, amazing service and the places is always packed full of people. The “ciger” and the “ayran” are one of a time. Never had better anywhere else. The service is very fast. Obviously the owner is a professional and he hires the best employees. Always polite, welcoming and with smile on their faces. Great job! Highly recommended! 👏🏼👌🏼

Liver served with unbelievably tasty hot sauce, dried & fried hot peppers, specially cooked mild green peppers, juicy white onions and tomatoes. Don't forget to taste spice containers at the side of the table. They're so good with olive oil and bread. You will not regret it.

Lever is just the finest you can ever try!
What is interesting is that I found all the rest dishes in the menu.
Kyuftesi, soup, deserts...everything is so delicious and fresh!
I’m fan of that place since the first enter. It’s like lbw at first sight!

The staff does not speak English, but with a little Turkish and Bulgarian we managed to communicate. The food was very tasty and quickly delivered. One can also order for takeaway.

Highly recommend to whom visits Edirne. The service is good, the restaurant is big and ver clean. You can find ver delicious Ciger (special Edirne lamb liver) and other meals.

Fresh and delightful food! Small place but fast service, köfte is also perfect. Best tava ciğer I've tried in Edirne- light and crispy, very delicious.

Best fried liver and traditional yoghurt I have ever tasted! The waiters are very friendly and the place is pretty modern with a traditional twist.
