Tunis-Carthage International Airport

The worst airport I have ever used in my life. I have flight over 100 airports all over the world and Tunis should be the last of my list at the point of its service.
First of all, porter it’s quality is worst. They took our luggage right after we took off taxi without permission and bring them inside with fake smile. And then after finish their job I gave them 10 diners chip which should be enough for them, but they insisted more. They should be ashamed of their self-confidence as this is tantamount to fraud and thievery.
And then in security they can’t keep luggage on track. While I was taking security check they never take care of that and they have dropped my camera on floor. They never apologized about that or never tried to get it back.
One more thing, Tunis airport should be an international airport or the gate of Tunisia however quite a few staff are able to speak English.
I personally don’t have bad impressions about city of Tunis, but the airport is worst because of that I could recommend you or my friends not to go to Tunis if you don’t want to finish up your journey with nightmare.
If Tunisian government promotes tourism I strongly suggest replacing all the staff and create new system, otherwise no one will come back to Tunis.

We had the place to ourselves and your money goes a long way there a meal in a top restaurant for two is about £25 and excellent service and food. Carthage water park and funfair was great fun and has some sole traders market as well would highly recommend for the young and the over over 60s as we are both well over that age stayed at the Blue Marine Hotel in Yasmin which again we would highly recommend

For everyone that shared any memory and feeling in this airport (maybe in any airport around the globe) I have to attribute 5 stars not for the facilities as much for what we all went through: goodbyes, welcoming, adventures…
Facilities wise, the whole airport needs renovation; mainly the staff needs to be renewed and a new vision.. fresh blood is a must.

Beautiful airport, quite small but has everything you need. More prayer rooms would be a plus (considering it's a muslim country) it was too far from our gate to get to in time. You can pay by card if you don't have euros (they don't accept local cash so spend them before you arrive). Your unable to show your boarding pass via apps (unlike most modern/western airports) so you'll have to print yours out via the checkin desk (so allow yourself plenty of time for the ques) it's not the best airport in Africa but certainly not the worst. Staff are friendly, minimal questions in security (unlike other places) good experience.

The airport was busy. Immigration was efficient in spite of long queue. Baggage claim took a while to get bags. Eventually got them.

Atm available at Baggage claim and exchange bureaus. Duty free also available.

Excellent airport, clean and well maintained, user-friendly sign boards.

Requires always paper ticket, no use for app ticket. Security checkpoint was fast and friendly, no long lines. Very professional handling of people and items.

Nice and we'll organized airport . Medium sized but with all facility easy costumes and alot of females officers . Big duty-free very cheap food and beverage . O e of the best in Africa contenent

Airport is nice. But the public toilet is not clean.
The authorities must take notice of it. Rest it was a good experience.

A medium airport for a great country. The airport is quite old and needs a new relook. People are very welcoming and very nice. The country of freedom in the Arab world needs help from the international community in order to upgrade its investments and the number of opportunities are illimités in this beautiful country. The business class area is very small.

Best airport in the world ! Dubai airport should take note 🧡

They have an excellent customer service and amability with everyone.

BEWARE OF EDREAMS AND EDREAMS PRIME
I booked a flight last March Tunis _Paris
We had to wait for close to 3 hours no food no drinks . This booking was made through Edrams . They gave me a discount of 1 euro on a 4o euros ticket, but when the booking was done, a message followed
Edreams will withdraw automatically an amount of 53 euros for future discounts
I have never agreed or signed for such a deal. This deal is in fact a scam and Edreams withdrew such amount well before the March 31st deadline on which the 1 euro discount counts.
Several attempts to contact the company in their Madrid and Paris office failed and it is impossible to unsubscribe from their continued offers
Transavia was the company which was responsible for the flight Tunis_Paris, on board (2 hours late ) dying with thirst I was told to pay for water or....
I repeat Beware of Edreams and Affiliates

I arrived with my family on 20/07 from dubai..... Airport is very good when the police officer saw that we have kid with us he took us directly to immigration counter. We finished very fast with big smile from the immigration officer, after that we went to take our bags it was thier waiting for us and then out from airport in 35 minutes only. Before I travel I saw all the comments about the airport and the staff I was really afraid from bad comments. To everyone see my comment, believe what you see not what other people commente and complain TUNISIA AIRPORT is one of the best airports I have ever seen Good staff nice services and for the people who say that the lost something from their bags I have got everything. Thank you Tunisia

Everything went smoothly, fast check in and enough spaces for food, drink and smoke

One of the most humanist airport, I ve travelled with my 2 kids, and as soon as an officer saw me carryng hanbag with my 2 kids, he approached me and took me the the vip line in order to clear quickly, the police border was very freindly and enthasise with the fact that my trip was difficult. Its true that the facility needs some enehacement, but overall I was impressed

Tunisair were fantastic. Airport not so much. Limited food and drink places. Looked very empty but quick clearance through security

Nice country and the people are so kind

Fly was so good and the landing was smooth as a tunisia airline food was okay airport was clean and to cold and there was public transportation there is no problem of transportation
