This place is easily 5 star. I went here twice, it was that good. Opposite Hotel Africa, very local, not many tourists here.

Super friendly waiter and chef, 2 story seating, and was recommended by the hotel.

Excellent food, the lamb cous cous is the bomb. Grilled fish, very fresh. Prices are very affordable, ~11 dinars for mains.

It's off the main street which is filled with tourist traps.

We were a bit skeptical about the place. It was the first one we've tried after arriving in Tunisia.

Great local restaurant in the centre of Tunis. They have every typical Tunisian dish at very cheap prices. The quality and quantity of the food is great, so is the restaurant staff.

Typical restaurant "Sfaxien", i.e. speciality is fish couscous, which is very tasty and excellent value. Nice brik with tuna, comes piping hot, as it should, freshly cooked. Welcoming and friendly staff.

Dans ce resto, j'ai essayé la soupe au poisson et le couscous à l'agneau. J'étais rapidement servi et c'était bon.
L'avantage c'est que c'est spacieux et on y trouve tjr de la place.

Buen sitio para comer o cenar, platos tradicionales y cerca del centro. Buen precio. Pedimos ensalada tunecina, cuscús de pollo y pesacado a la plancha, sobre unos 36DTH.
Repetiría sin dudarlo.

Eccezionale, piatti buonissimi e abbondanti. Prezzo super, spenderete 10-15€ in totale per una cena abbondante in due persone. Imparagonabile alle trappole per turisti che troverete a pochi metri sulla via principale.

Super bon couscous au poulet. Un petit resto tout simple, au calme avec de bons plats tunisiens typiques et pas chers du tout (11 dt le couscous)

Très bon restaurant traditionnel en plein cœur du centre-ville de Tunis ! Rapport qualité prix imbattable.

Wir hatten an einem Sonntag ein offenes Restaurant gesucht, das nicht völlig überteuert und schlecht ist wie die lokale an der Ave Bourguiba. Auf Grund der guten Rezensionen sind wir dann hier gelandet. Das Ambiente ist nicht toll, aber wir wurden nett begrüßt und fanden auch schnell etwas zu essen. Die Portion war reichlich, günstig und vor allem sehr lecker. Daher empfehle ich das Restaurant gerne weiter.
