Golden Tulip El Mechtel

Very close to the Tunis airport (12 mins drive without traffic and may take over 20mins during peak hours). Hospitality was amazing. There is an Italian restaurant and Tunisian Restuarent inside the hotel premises.

Very nice hotel at the center of the city. The staff are completely friendly and helpful

+ i stayed on the hotel for 2 months in 2019 and for 1 month 2023, big difference , hotel was renovated, clean, focusing on quality service.
Large, quiet and comfortable rooms,
Staff are extremely polite and helpful, from security staff to reception to restaurants. For any request or comment about room reception staff made sure to escort me to room and to fix it at same time.( minor comments)
Excellent breakfast, very varied, large selection.
Location is in the center of tunis, walking distance to the medina, walking distance to Belvedere park and zoo.
Very nice afterwork pub (bellini) next to hotel building.
Large parking space

- traffic around the area during peak hours ( common in all tunis)
- senior staff in restaurant could be more friendly with junior staff.they were concerned about quality of service but i didnt like the way they communicated infront of customers.

Sayede there for five nights on a business trip. Rooms vere quite comfy, cleaned every Day. Breakfast good, pizza i ate in the restaurant was bien. TV did not work properly.

All the staff is very kind and ready to help you, but a special mention goes particularly to Mr Abderrazek Maadi.
I surely will choose this hotel again.

Clean rooms, good choice of restaurants and bars as well as valet parking :)
Professional management team and helpful employees. Suited mostly for business travelers, the hotel does offer various entertainment and leisure possibilities. Very recommended if you need to be near the city center and on the outskirts of the Old Medina.

I have been in this hotel for a one-day training and it was well-equipped and the different services including food have been of high quality.
