Slanted Taco (Sukhumvit 23)

Excellent Mexican cuisine and a lovely chill atmosphere at The Slanted Taco. I ordered the hard shell tacos with avocado, followed by the apple crumble. Both were delicious and clearly made with fresh ingredients. Lots of vegetarian & vegan options. Both locals and tourists seem to eat here and the decor/seating area was really nice and relaxed. Staff were also very friendly.

Great food by Jorge Bernal, a chef that has been in the Bangkok scene for over a decade. There is a really enjoyable menu with traditional recipes and some creative new ones. I loved the idea of the 3 salsas. The most spicy one is the best imho. Loads of options of Tequilas (a bit pricy the shots) and 4 options of Mexican beers. Great surprise.

Excellent Mexican food in Bangkok! I don't know how more authentic you can get without having Mama turning out tortillas in the kitchen. But, this place started with amigos chefs and they certainly trained these Thai chef what Mexican food is all about. The food is piping hot and delicious. Coming from the great American Southwest with family both sides of the border I have to say Slanted Taco is my kind of place for caliente Mexican​ food.

I went there for dinner. The staffs so nice. (Forgot to ask her name😭) She gave a great service and recommendation. Fish taco was excellent, Quesadilla was lovely and Burrito was wonderful. There are 40 draft beer on taps. What a place!!! Definitely will go back again and I do highly recommend this place for everyone. Loved it!

Best mexican food in bkk. But we got the same two servers twice. I know being a waitress is hard but they make it look impossible. They have scowls on their faces, they give vague directions to dirty tables and then get upset when you sit at the wrong table. Their attitudes just sucked. The food is amazing though and its always packed. Great afternoon spot.

Tacos however is without cheese 👎🏻
Everything else is good and service is great
Guacamole is also really fresh and big portions

Nice service and quality ingredients make for a good Mexican food experience. It's a small restaurant but shares a large outdoor space with bars

Amazing place, really Mexican Flavor. The green sauce in the chicken tacos is heaven. Maybe change the spring onion for coriander, but anyway amazing and for a really reasonable price for the quality. Will come back.

This is a great Mexican restaurant. It's very classy. They have a lot of tequilas. They give a few free chips and salsa, and I wasn't sure how to get any more. The guacamole is delicious. They can make almost everything vegetarian, with their mushroom mix as a meat substitute. The portions aren't giant, but they're great quality.

Super delicious (also a lot of gluten free dishes)!

The Food is INCREDIBLE.
While not perfect...its pretty damn close to Mi Abulita's....
One reviewer with what appears to be an Indian Subcontinent name compared the tacos to "pancakes"....sorry they weren't McDonald's fake Mexican shite...
Another with an obviously French last name also criticized the authenticity of the food.
Well...I'm from Texico...I have family in Tamapulinas, And my wife's family is from Oaxaca.
This is the best tasting and most authentic Mexican Food in the city.
Trust Me.
I was raised on this type of food.

Nice taco, good and spicy sauce

Here has so many delicious Mexican homemade menu especially a promotion on Tuesday that is if you order Taco you will get one piece free so I love that. Tequilas here very special Don t missed!!

They are conveniently located on soi 23 and the service is nice.. wine glasses range 250/glass and their burritoes are a bit pricey, but delish.

Great taco set for lunch. Free chips and salsa like restaurants in America. Rarety here. Food was great. Good drink specials. Great service.

A pretty authentic atmosphere with respect to food, music and wall paintings. A hide away at Asoke. Even Saturday night nearly empty. Come now before its too late.

Good Mexican food. Tastes fresh. Little pricy for Thai standards but worth a go if go craving some mex.

This is legit Mexican. Probably the best I've had in Asia.
