One of the best and busiest airports in the world. Immigration is fast because of the use of automatic departure machines for e-passport holders. Security checks queue is long but it finishes fast because it is smoothly done. Lots of duty free shops and restaurants as well

The airport is amazing. The interior is awesome. This is a huge airport and has multiple spots for duty free sections, various lounges and other stores as well. Water tanks and toilets are available at various locations inside the airport. Navigations are placed properly. I enjoyed my time at the airport.

Did not have to wait long clearing customs as it was not peak travelling season.

Mango sticky rice is a must before returning home. Always sweet and fresh and doesn't disappoint.

Was assigned Gate S this time and it took some time to reach the new area where the gate is. The walk was ok about 15 minutes along with a train ride. The new area is clean and huge with the usual Duty Free Shops. There's also McDonald's and Burger King for food with minimal queue.

Suvarnabhumi Airport Bangkok is one of the best international airports in Asia. They have set up really high standards for a developing country to set up such good facilities and infrastructure. During the new year eve (3days) they had 15 lakh visitors. Immigration and customs was seamless and the baggage handling was really quick and efficient. They have some really high end luxury brands as retail stores. Lot of good food options were available at equal junctions. We have lot of options for last minute mementos and snacks . Their duty free have an excellent collection of products (alcohols, perfumes and chocolates). You can collect your VAT refund here, if you have checked in products then go to the Vat custom check in before checking in your bags. Get your customs stamp and then only check in your luggage bags. Products like gold or luxury products or high end electronics that you are carrying in Person you can take it directly. Suvarnabhumi Airport Bangkok is the gateway to an amazing country Thailand and recommend to come a bit early to enjoy the architecture.

Always busy airport. Regular facilities, bus and taxi services available. SIM card, money exchange, atm booth available. Luggage wrapping cost 250baht regardless the size. Fast moving services. Friendly and helpful staff. Immigration line is always pretty long :(

It's a very beautiful airport. It's one of the busiest airports. It is humongous. The staff at the airport are very friendly and always ready to go the extra mile. Despite the volume of people that it serves, the place is clean. The security is tight, which is great for such an establishment. All services, ranging from needing a sim card to needing accommodation, are just within a step away from getting out of customs. There are even hospital reps in waiting. In as much it is a very busy place you can get all the help you want or need.

I had a pleasant experience at Suvarnabhumi Airport. The airport was clean and comfortable, and the signs were easy to follow. I enjoyed browsing the duty-free shops and trying some local food at the food court. The staff were courteous and professional, and the check-in and boarding were fast and hassle-free. The Airport Rail Link was convenient and cheap, and it took me to the city center in less than an hour. I would definitely recommend Suvarnabhumi Airport to anyone traveling to or from Bangkok.

As a global tourism powerhouse, Bangkok International Airport seamlessly caters to the needs of travelers. Arriving at 5 in the morning and then connecting flights, the departure hall is bustling with people of different nationalities and skin colors. As soon as you step off the plane and onto the jet bridge, you immediately feel the unique tropical air of Thailand with its distinct scent.

The domestic departure hall offers self-service baggage check-in, but there are also staff members ready to assist, making the process very convenient. In this regard, it can be compared to Singapore Changi International Airport. Furthermore, the airport gains points for its high-quality lounges, even in the domestic departure terminal, offering various dining and relaxation options. The only aspect that could be improved is the $1 charge for hot water after passing through security.

There is a very convenient and affordable Skytrain from the airport to the city center. Of course, you can also take a taxi, but overcharging by taxi drivers is quite common in Bangkok. Therefore, it's essential to take note of the taxi's license number, and if the driver attempts to negotiate a fixed fare, be sure to decline. If you notice the driver taking a longer route, a good solution is to withhold payment until you arrive at your hotel and then request the hotel staff to negotiate with the driver. I once avoided being overcharged this way.

So far, my experience is very good with the airport. Easy to navigate and staff are very helpful. Clean and you have access to free drinking water. Restrooms are very hygienic. You will get a VAT refund before and after the immigration. Still, if the total amount of the VAT refund is lower than 20000 TBH, then you can get the refund just after immigration, and if the amount is kore than 20000 TBH, then you must check it by the VAT authorities before immigration, and you will get the VAT counter in right-hand last corner after they enter. Wheelchairs and wrapping are available. Information desk and board and indicator board are all around the airport for easy navigation. After immigration, you will get all the international and local branded shops around you.

This is a shopping haven airport because the price is reasonable, some goods are cheaper here than outside! Shops are opened 24 hrs (i guess). All are quiet in KLIA with many people slept on the seats

Very modern airport. One of the biggest in Asia. It‘s going through a lot of changes: a new terminal is being build and the food section is being extended. It already got a big update during COVID.

Distances at the airport are quite big. It‘s good to have 30min after immigration and before boarding.

You can easily spend a few hours here if you are in transit. They have the classic food options and a few nicer, Thai ones as well. Most of the restaurants are located around the F gates

Very large and busy airport. Good signage throughout the international terminal and the domestic terminal, and several helpful information booths for English speakers. A wide variety of western and Asian restaurants to choose from. Easy to navigate.

Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok is one of the busiest airports in Southeast Asia.
The architecturally impressive terminal building reflects Thailand's cultural diversity and modern style.
Suvarnabhumi offers a wide range of services including duty-free shops, restaurants serving international cuisine, lounges and wellness facilities. Clear signage makes it easier to navigate the spacious terminal.
The airport is well connected by public transport and taxis for convenient arrival and departure.

I suggest to be there 3 hrs before your flight as the security process takes really long time.
At the arrival you can buy the 8 or 15 days SIM so it's easier to move around using the "Grab" App (like Uber). Most of the drivers don't speak English or really basic one.

Easy to navigate around. Air conditioned. Modern architecture. You will come across the robots that are patrolling the domestic departure gates. Probably fitted with security cameras and it can be very amusing watching young kids interacting with them. Mostly one-sided as the robot tries to get past.

Big Airport with so many flights for different countries, many shopping stores, restaurants, many check in counters, many cash exchange counters. Easy to navigate.
It is always recommended to be there in airport before 2-3 hours if you are travelling to other countries. To get Vegetarian food is difficult.

This is probably the largest airport I have ever seen.
They have all the necessary services and very nice staff.
You must try the mango sticky rice they are selling here. I highly recommend it because it's delicious.
