Blue Boar Pub and Restaurant

I’ve eaten here twice so far during our stay and both times the food was very good. First had the pizza and it didn’t disappoint and then last night braved a green curry. It was super hot (for me) but gosh it really was very good and I will def get it again. Staff were super attentive and quick to greet us when we stopped to look at the menu 👌

What a great atmosphere, chill playing some pool, meeting new and interesting people, watching the game, having a drink and some food. I've come here twice now and only now discovered the upstairs terrace with the view. Parking 🅿 is free on the street but very limited so take a Grab 😉 The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful and I'm for sure going to chill at their place more often. 👍

This pub was right next to our hotel, so after a long day out it was perfect to find it.

The staff were lovely, the owner was very friendly and chatted to us and made sure everyone had what they wanted. The food was really good. We really enjoyed going here.

We enjoyed some great comfort food on our first visit. The garlic prawns were fantastic, while lamb shank and steak pie also hit the spot. I look forward to trying the signature Swedish meat balls on my next visit.

was staying in hotel next door, found this place, was lovely, the owner and his wife were very friendly, great food, had pizza and another day a panang curry, both were delicious, if your are near yhis pib try it u cant go wrong, will for sure be back on my next visit

Good selection of drinks and it came with free food - and it’s not just some random snacks but proper meal!! I feel bad not ordering more drinks but I was really full at the time. But will definitely come back for more drinks. There’s a pool table there so it’s a great place for groups.

First time visited last night, what an awesome bar, has somehow attracted a great bunch of local cool expats, great food and has a pool table too, nice option if you want to avoid the usual packed bars, definitely adding this to my bar options going forward

One of the best value for money pubs. The fish and chips here is to die for!! In the evening there is a good crowd. If u like playing pool they have table.

Laid back place with very nice rooftop seating. Nice drinks and great food to accompany. Burgers on Friday burger night are amazing.

Nice chill pub with decent food. Stopped by for a quick San Miguel Pint & some Steak. Steak Pie was decent.

Ambience was very chill since Monday mid day.

Great bar on Soi 18, a very short walk off Soi 22. Brand new pool table. Attentive and efficient staff. It’s owned by Aussies and has a western feel. Good tunes on playlist and often a pool comp or salsa dancing etc.

Ordered Thai food and it was very good. Green curry was excellent.

Very nice and friendly staff. The owners are great people and invited us to grill with everybody. We played a lot pool and it‘s good to go there with friends. Very good location and super comfortable for everybody. Very enjoyable time and chilled atmosphere. I can really recommend it.

New management, very friendly service with a high quality pool table. Convenient Soi 18 location. I met the owners, Colin and Gavin, they're nice guys. It's a nice place to have a beer & chillax. I didn't try their food but, based on all other observation, I'm sure it's quite acceptable.

The Blue Boar is one of my all-time favorite bars in Bangkok. It is off the beaten track being some way down Soi 18, but that adds to the charm. There are TVs on which to watch sports, and they've recently updated their pool table. The drinks are reasonably priced and the food is always delicious. The vibe here is pleasant and welcoming, so it's just a great place overall to hang out with friends, shoot some pool, and chill.
