Wat Dan

Peaceful place. Gets crowded on festival days. A fairly elaborate arrangement for the Loy Krathong festival where, lamps are floated on the river. Wat Dan also has a pond where, you can feed the fish. As you enter the temple from the main enterance on Rama 3 Road you will walk past the Wat Dan School - on your left.

A beautiful temple on the banks of the scenic Chaophraya river below the new Bhumibhol 1 bridge, with awesome murals telling Thai ways of living in the previous centuries...

Good location for seeing Chao Phraya River during sunset with Bhumibol 1 Bridge. Which is beautiful.

สถานที่ด้านหน้า ติดถนนพระรามสาม ด้านหลังติดแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา สามที่จอดรถสะดวกมาก ด้านริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยามีอาหารขายพวกก๋วยเตี๋ยวเรือพื้นเมือง มีส้มตำแบบทำเอง วิวฝั่งตรงข้ามสวยมาก ด้านข้างมองเห็นสะพาน พระราม 3

วัดที่ทางเข้าแคบๆ เข้ามาข้างใน จะมีองค์หลวงพ่อโต ล้อมด้วยบ่อปลา มีระฆังล้อมรอบเลยตีไปรอบนึง เข้ามาริมน้ำเจอบรรยากาศร้านก๋วยเตี๋ยว(แม่ค้าใจดี) และมีร้านเครื่องดื่ม นั่งชิวๆสบายดี ได้วิวหลักล้าน ใครจะปล่อยปลาดีนักแล ติดน้ำเลย มีบ่อเต่าริมวัดติดเจดีย์หรือที่เก็บอัฐิ ไม่รู้ได้..
