Montien Riverside Hotel

Considering how old this hotel is, we still enjoyed every minute of our stay here. We got a large room with the best view. Breakfast had a lot of options too! Maybe they can do some repainting sometime soon as I can imagine how beautiful this hotel was years ago. Overall experience was pretty amazing, especially coz it was just a short walk to one of my fave malls in Thailand - Terminal 21. Thank you!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel in Bangkok. Our room was spacious, clean, and had great views. We could see miles into the city.
The breakfast buffet included with our reservation was delicious. We had so many different types of food to select from and the staff was incredibly friendly.

The only challenge was leaving the hotel to explore. It was a bit difficult moving through the heavy traffic of Bangkok, but the hotel provided a complementary shuttle to drop us off at various locations. That was appreciated. Bangkok is one of the biggest and busiest cities we’ve every traveled to.

I also wanted to complement the service provided by the assistant manager, Mr. Tarab. He went above and beyond to welcome us to his hotel and to Bangkok. I recommend staying at this hotel for your next visit to Bangkok. We will certainly stay here next time we visit Bangkok. Cheers!

A wonderful hotel with old world charm. The lobby is spacious and grand. There is also a riverside open air restaurant. Max rooms with the river and bridge view.
On the downside a bit away from the hustle-bustle of Bangkok.

Rooms - Beautiful and luxurious rooms with all the required amenities. Well maintained, clean and luckily for me, I had a stunning view of the river from both the windows of the room. It was breathtaking when I entered the room for the first time.
Service - Fortunately or unfortunately don't have a lot to mention since I did not get to experience their service on call. Since the details shared and service provided without any request were close to flawless.
Food - Again, couldn't judge much since from the visit I had was on business purpose and on a group. The request was Indian cuisine and it's obviously not upto the Indian standards but I sure did enjoy my breakfast here. The service in this case was quick and the food was never empty.
Knit Pick or a Real flaw - the water flow in the shower was slow. The water used to raise up and not drain as it should.
I hope atleast some of the housekeeping head would know some amount of English.
Wouldn't like to take any stars just because of the above issue as this could just be in the room I stayed in.
All in all I had a great experience and would love to revisit.

Superior River View. Perfect spot on the river, avoid the crowds of downtown. Easy access to tourist sites via ferry. Terminal 21 with dozens of restaurants and grocery store, couple minute walk. As is a 711. Getting to airport, quick and easy, with easy access to toll way. Pool, gym, sauna all exceptional. Highly, recommend the Breakfast buffet! Avoid the outside dinning, dishes served half an hour apart, lots of mosquitoes. Room service prices and indoor dinning was very reasonable with excellent service. Rooms and room service staff excellent. Staff overall provide friendly professional experience across the board. Twin bed option was perfect for 2 adults and one 10 year old. Actually, twin double beds. Not two singles that many hotels provide.

Convenient location, nice accessibility and views. Quiet and so comfortable. Great amenities, including in the rooms, at breakfast, and throughout the gorgeous facilities. No complaints at all; I would definitely stay here again.

Montien Riverside Hotel is an ideal family-friendly accommodation with a pleasant atmosphere. The spacious rooms come with excellent room service, and the on-site food options are of high quality. However, it's important to note that the hotel is located far from the main city, requiring reliance on cabs for transportation. Additionally, the surrounding area lacks entertainment options.

It’s a great hotel. Interior a bit more old style but I think it makes the hotel more charming. Room view is superb. Location bit far from central, but you can find malls around the hotel plus the hotel facilities are really great. Breakfast was great and staffs are super friendly and helpful. Try the cafe bar at night, the view in front of the river is just magical, enhanced by the lovely decor from the cafe. Overall if u don’t mind to be a bit outside central is a superb accommodation to book in Bangkok.

This is a grand old Bangkok 5 Star on the river. Service excellent food excellent views excellent facilities excellent pool excellent. Discounted rates indicative of property and rooms running at 4 star level. Great value. Great atmosphere

Great place for stay, polite staff, view and amenities are wonderful, interior of hotel rooms are royal and classy, housekeeping staff is hard work.
I miss tasty food served here especially the cakes bite size square flavoured cake 🫠❤ I think of them everyday

We stayed here for 5 nights and were really happy with the service. The rooms are spacious and have beautiful city views. The breakfast buffet is very nice. Even the room service was very good. Everything we ordered in the room came perfectly and tasted great. The outdoor cafe by the river beautifully lights up at night. The band at there bar was also very good. Would highly recommend to anyone.

During my visit at Montien Riverside Hotel, the lady named Supawadee Srihanam , has been guiding me through out the hotel and show me around every department which was very helpful.

We absolutely loved it here. From the grandness, old style furnishings and hotel to the super friendly accommodating staff.

Best gym I have used in a hotel, huge crystal clear pool, an abundance of friendly staff, so many food choices and more.

The hotel is older but that's part of the attraction.

Best service I have had at a hotel in a long time and I have stayed in hundreds.

Don't miss this place with a 711 next door and photogenic terminal 21 150metres away everything you need is here.

Very nice and helpful staff! Nice classic feel to the rooms with nice views to the Chao river. Big spacious bathroom and don’t forget to ask for toilet water spray fitted room! If you prefer water over tissue. At the bakery try ham and cheese sandwich and coconut iced tea or iced latte! Lobby area and outside is quite beautiful with large open space. Breakfast buffet was good maybe can add few more items, room food menu was delicious! View from pool area is spectacular, over all experience was good!

Food and drinks a reasonable priced. Staff is friendly.
Try a speedboat tour from there.

Stay over night with family, the hotel is decorated in a spacious, Thai and Western elegant style, with a feeling of luxury. The rooms are spacious, the building with good condition and clean, comfortable and quiet, the facilities are complete, and there is a garden view with bar. The Chao Phraya River view from room can overlook the cross river bridge view from a distance. The hotel staffs are very polite and attentive, well management. The breakfast food is varied and delicious, very suitable for leisure and very satisfying.
