Do the abnormal traveling. Instead of by taxi or grab. We took public transportation. The journey was long takes about 2 1/2 hours and 20 mins walk included from Bangkok city but its was fun.

Been back to the temple to pay respect for many years. Personally this is a sacred place to me . A little far out of town but if you are a Phra Rahu devotee than this is not to be missed out.

One of the most well known temples in Nakhon Pathom and always full of worshippers. People come from all over the country and even overseas to pray to Phra Rahu, well known for helping rid of backstabbers.

One of the most beautiful temples in Nakhon Pathom, dedicated to the god Rahu. It seems not so well known, but it's a surprisingly beautiful place to visit. The architecture is unique and inside the temple, the walls are amazingly painted. Well worth a visit!

Located from the busy city so not so easily accessible. However, it is an extremely popular place of worship here. Visited on a Sunday and without knowing anything about Phra Rahu but felt peace and connection here. Read up abit online and definitely interesting for spiritual seekers to learn more and visit here.

Temple dedicated to Phra Rahu, God of darkness where worshippers bring black coloured offering such as black grapes, black liqueur, black coffee, black jelly, black beans, black sticky rice, black Thai cake and black fermented eggs. Pray Phra Rahu for strong success in wealth, luck, and protection. 🙏🙏🙏

A great place to pay respect to PhraRahoo. There’s quite a few statues of him, each standing nicely. To pay respect, you will need to prepare “black materials” to do this (but they have ready made ones if you don’t have the time to prepare it).

Inside is spacious, I’ve been here twice and it’s easy to find parking - usually not too crowded as well. Walk in further you will find the temple area, very calm and is ideal for meditation.

Wat Sri Sa Thong in Nakorn Pathom province. The main temple building is truly a piece of exceptional Buddhist art.

This temple is also famous for its Phra Rahu, believed to be a former Demon God. Thais believe that Phra Rahu has nowadays taken on a more human form and is worshipped to prevent harm coming to the bearer of “black” gifts.
Gifts usually offered to Phra Rahu include Black grapes for business success, Black liqueur for profitable investment, Black coffee to get what you wish for, Black jelly for patience, Black beans to progress, Black rice wealth and love, Black cake for rewards, etc.

Every Wednesday its open until 9pm while the other days of the week its open only until 5pm. Getting there by public transport can be abit tricky: I took MRT until the most West-end it could go (Lak-Song) then took bus 84 / 123 heading towards Nakhon Pathom. Alight at the terminal bus stop then take a meter-run taxi at around 200Baht. If not, directly from Siam to the Temple would be around 600Baht (via Grab) and 500Baht (Via Meter). Good luck!

Pay respect to the Rahu god for best luck and refrains from darkness/unhappiness. Very beautiful and awing architecture (even on process of instruction). You could buy nine dark offerings to worship the god at 300 baht.

People come here to pray Rahu. Rahu is an asura (Demon deity) that have only upper black body. According to Hindu myths, Rahu cause solar and lunar eclipses. People come here to offer black fruits and drinks such as black coffee, black beans and black grapes.
