Nan Riverside Art Gallery

Plan to swing by for 15min yet ended up more than an hour. More than half of the time however is outside of the gallery that offers extreme calmness and comfort.wiah I can camp here.

Well worth a visit when in Nan. The main gallery is nice enough, but of particular note is the underground section displaying detailed reproductions of secular temple paintings featured in Nan's most historic temples. It's like having a tour guide before going to see the real thing.

A must-go when in Nan. I went there years ago and met the kind owner, Arjarn Winai Prabripu. The gallery kept a number of original art work and replicas of Ban’s historic art masterpieces. It’s worth the half-an-hour ride from downtown.

Amazing gallery outside of Nan about 20 minutes. Beautiful setting by Nan river with interesting and unique exhibits. Can enjoy coffee and a meal overlooking the river. Worth going to!

Lovely property on the river with a nice airy gallery, cafe and grounds for walking. The proprietors were very nice.

Ticket fee is 20 baht per person, there are various collection of arts in this place. Clean and organized. There is also a cafe where you can sit and relax beside the small river along the side the the gallery. Not sure if this place is really that crowded, or it's because I visited during the weekday, I like it when there is not too many people when you are viewing the arts.

Nice art gallery. There are 2 main sections. Permanent art section which display owner’s artworks, and Pop up art section which display the artworks of Nan’s artists.
The they I went there, there was an exhibition on Nan traditional race boat. It was so cool to learn about the history, meaning and different type of race boat arts.

One of the great joys of traveling around Thailand is discovering privately funded non-profit art galleries, and the Nan Riverside is an absolute gem. Both the gardens and the indoor spaces are delightful, and present you with a wonderful experience of the owner's selection of paintings, sculptures and landscape pieces. When traveling in this part of the country it is well worth a detour, and be sure to set aside an hour or two of your itinerary to soak up the experience of the art here.

There is also a delightful gallery shop, and a cafe that looked great too, though we had already eaten lunch.

Highly recommended, and we will definitely return when we are next in Nan Province

I like this place. The entrance fee is only 20 bath and the tickets are lovely. There are two floors, many works of art. A lot of parking and a small coffee shop.

Nice gallery alongside the river. Worth the twenty baht entrance fee. Can enjoy coffee river-side on some decking after a stroll through the gallery.

Impressive collection of artwork from various artists. We brought our children from our foundation for a visit on our way to Nan city. The owner of the gallery was very personable and took the time to share about the establishment.

Nice area ! Only a few galleries so we viewed everything in about an hour . There is one big two story building with a rotating modern art collection and the top floor has some classic paintings . Painted trees outside as well as some animal sculptures and a painted van. Gallery is located along Nan river and there is a small lake onsite as well. Small cafe and food area . Another photo section displays pictures of the murals from wat phumin. Clean bathrooms !

Very large permanent exhibition of paintings off of highway in a beautiful wooded area next to river about 30 minutes north of downtown Nan. 20 Baht fee per person (Thai and Farang).

A privately funded gallery in Nan. The highlights of the gallery are the original paintings by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, one of her paintings is a parody of the famous "Whisper of love", a wall painting of couple in Bhumin Temple in Nan's old town.

Nice Museum in Nan, close to Nature, spacious and have coffee shop inside.

This is a very nice gallery and museum. I rent a taxi to here, the driver kindly introduced the owner also the Nan artist to me. He speaks very good English and we communicated with each other very happy. The gardens surrounding the gallery are beautiful and have great views of the Nan River. The highlights of the art gallery are collection of 6 princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s paintings. Do not miss the underground museum for detailed explanations on mainly Wat Phumin and Wat Nong Bua’s Thai lue arts wall paintings. Highly recommended!

Amazing huge artisan space, full of galleries, museums, art workshops and open air art masterpieces. Even the trees are artistically painted there :)

Great stop between Nan town and the northern regions of the province. They have a museum explaining the murals of Nan. They also have an art gallery of contemporary local work that was fun to walk through

The painting always changed every year. Feel good to visit there.
