Thung Charoen Fresh Market

A bustling market that comes to life, as the sun goes down over the Central Isaan City of Roi Et.

Plenty of wares for sale ranging from textiles to hardware, but the major category is food and well let me just say, there is just heaps of it!

A big shed full of tempting treats, smiling faces and even a bit of music.

If you are in Roi Et at twilight, then a walk through the shed a.k.a the night market of Thung Charoen in Nai Mueang (see my YouTube), is a good call.

A great selection of fresh produce, I think it's wholesale and retail, I imagine the trade orders are mostly dealt with early in the morning.

Wonderful Thai food. Lots of fresh vegetables and fruit. Cannot believe the atmosphere of wonderful Thai life. A have to visit.

Terrific food market near Roi Et tower. Highlight was this lady and her wonderful DIY salad !

Most of my favorite dishes can be found at this market.

You can get fresh veggies all washed and cut up for a quick salad!!! Unfortunately all the dressings have too much sugar so I bring my own from home.

A great place to grab take out dinner. Lots of good options. Highly recommended!
