Roi Et Tower

Wonderful landmark in the centre of Roi Et providing great views of the city and surrounding countryside. Visit was well organised despite a lot of school children being there at the same time. Escalator reaches most floors although stairs are provided for the very highest floors. At the very top of the tower is a small yet beautiful temple where you can make merit if you wish.

It's unexpected. Great view of the lakes. The glass floor is a good novelty, it's quite high, about 30 stories. Nice coffee shop near the top. You can walk around the lake.

My trip to Roi Et has been highlighted by day’s walk to the Roi Et Tower and back. Though the sun ☀ was almost blazing 🥵 and scorching 🥵 down on me the walk was worthwhile. The tower had amazing marketing skills which became business opportunities for small businesses and also entertainment for visitors. The ticket was cheap, just 40฿ but one spend on souvenirs, coffee, food and eateries, meals etc and one can spend a day In around the tower.

Beautiful place, really recommend anyone visiting Roi Et. Admission fee is 50 Baht and the management for the visit is really good. There are plenty of friendly staffs. The view at the top is breathtaking and the skywalk is also a highlight for the visit. At the very top there is a hall for Buddha's relic with a very beautiful painting.

Lovely place and I would say a must go. Easy to get in and up. Friendly staff will explain everything. On top one can see round 360 degrees on several platforms. Amazing view of course. Don’t miss the very very top floor room. I recommend to try the daytime and the nighttime. They close at 7 PM.

50 THB it is worthy.

The Tower of Roi Et - is Simply Terrific ... !
Easy to find, ample car parking, beautiful lakes, gardens and other monuments in the vicinity (see my YouTube), too. A must-do for you, if you are in the area and yes, I will be back ...

I really like seeing views from up above and this Tower provides plenty of “above”.

This is a well thought out and well managed attraction in Roi-Et. It was actually fun.

A lift makes it easy and there are some stairs between the very upper levels. Every cm counts for views and Roi-Et is such a pretty city in Isaan.

Simply great.

My family and I visited here during the Songkran Festival. The tower offered a nice view of the surrounding area and had some interesting things inside, including a see-through glass floor close to the top. Not to mention, it was just plain cool to be inside a musical instrument that is representative of the local culture. The price for entry is not much. A visit can take anywhere from 30min to 1 hour.

Nice place to visit and take in some panoramic views of Roi-Et. Very much recommended and only bt50 per adult entrance and bt40 for children. Elderly are admitted free

The building is shaped like a Wot, a five or seven tubed musical instrument made from bamboo. Great views from the top.

You can see the whole town of Roi Et province from this tower. Beautiful building that I would recommend to go if you could go to Roi Et province.

The staff were great, very friendly and helpful,no extra entrance fee for foreigners, cost 40bht, fantastic views of the city,lots of info inside but mostly in Thai,well worth the visit.

At first, I thought it’s just another tourist trap, but there’s quite a lot good information about how the tower reflects the local bamboo instrument called ‘WOT’ how the wot is made, used and what it means for local culture. There are several levels up on the tower with airconditioned viewing sections, open air sections, a sacred mini temple on the top, a café, a souvenir shop, etc. The views of Roi Et and surrounding areas are good, especially down to the park. Roi Et is in rural Isaan; hence you will be seeing mostly green fields, and on a clear day some hills in the background.
Entrance is only 50B for Thai and foreigners (no obnoxious dual pricing). If you are 60 or older you will get a 10B discount and if you are above 70years the entrance is free
