The Regent Cha-Am Beach Resort

Nice laid-back family resort in Cha Am, which is located right on the beach. Check-in was swift and efficient with excellent customer service. We were led up to our rooms even if it was like 1130pm. when we arrived. Breakfast was alright. Food spread was not huge, but food was delicious with a couple of live stations for noodles and eggs.

The resort got two large pools, one for adults and a family pool with kids' water playground.

They do have an Italian restaurant by the beach which we never got to try. They do have a spa center and a fitness center as well as a kids' playroom.

This resort has lush greeneries and is an ideal venue for conventions and large group.

I stayed for a couple of lazy weeks and the staff were fantastic and friendly, so were the people at the local eateries a few minutes walk away.
Although the rooms are a bit dated, the friendly atmosphere made up for it. A big thanks to all who work there.

Nice place to relax for holiday. Beautiful swimming pool even though the room is not new. Parking is large enough for private cars.

First time staying here and very impressed. The Regent Cha-Am is located on a quiet beach. The premise is huge. It has plenty of rooms with great sea and garden views. The room is tidy, clean and spacious. Conference and meeting rooms are excellent. One minor flaw would be the beach that is not walkable during the high tide. Food and services are superb. Highly recommended.

Loved it, we stayed a a different resort down the street last year and this one is ten times better and the same price. Would pick this one over terra any day

We got a really good deal so that was some influence on my vote. It might be considered too expensive for some. But it was great for all of our group of 500+. Highly recommended for Cha Am.

Very peace and calm yo stay here that far from traffic and able to sense to the environment nearby the sea.

The hotel has several wings to stay which would represent different emotion to feel while staying.

Their staffs are good service and serve their best to take care.

Family trip is notable due to its facilities to support children and aging people to stay for a long period with joyful activities.

I most like its swimming pool and accommodation that big and wide for my whole family.

Picked this spot is only for its beautiful beach and cozy style!

Perfect hotel for a very reasonable price. Nice swimmingpool, friendly and helpful staff. Will come again. Too bad everything is closed after 21h. So if you want a to have a drink after 21h, you have to buy it somewhere else and take it back to the hotel.

We have been here 5 days now and we love it. Restaurant right on the beach, paths weave through the wooden chalets. Rooms are well appointed and the air-con works fine. Spacious balconies to sit out on and just watch the day go by. A very relaxed atmosphere. Staff are so friendly and happy. Very quiet place - not a place to come and party. Seems to be very popular with over 60's with mostly European people. We are 47/52yo Aussies. We have seen some couples in their early 30's with little ones and there is a large shallow pool for the kiddies. Most people seem to spend the day by the big pool - we have hired a scooter and zoom around to see the sites all day. Everything is no more than 10mins ride. We think this resort is perfect.

Wonderful exprience, staff is cooperative, good parking area for free, secure and safe place for vacations and holidays, can enjoy pool, spa, and food with family also.

Huge and well taken care Resort.
Location -This is located between Cha am and Hua Hin and set directly in front of the ocean. Private Taxi companies are available in the area as well as from the Hotel directly. Nearby train stations are in Cha am 12Km or Hua Hin 16km.

Reception / Arrival process. - Arrival was uncomplicated and there were enough Desks to check us in. Staff extremely friendly and helpful with all the relevant information about the hotel services. The entrance is massive and even with 20 – 30 guest, it won’t seem crowded at all.

Rooms / Facilities - Rooms are not the modern rooms ever but they are definitely worth 4 Stars. They were clean, bed was comfortable. Air Con was always on, TV with enough choice of channels and a balcony with a stand dryer for all the wet clothes and towels. Room service is done on a daily basis and fresh towels, clean bed and floor are provided. They even fold your sleeping clothes for you . Gym is also available but your access card needs to be changed every day otherwise you won’t get in.

The entire Resort is quite huge. All lawns are trees are well taken care of and there is no Garbage on the floor at all. 2 Pools are provided with enough stretchers and towels for everyone. Do expect the usual German / Dutch Towel reservation Squad at this hotel or at least near the pool areas. I went to the pool every day at 08:30 and most of the stretchers were already occupied but nobody there. This kind of action should be denied and enforced by hotel staff but I guess they authorize it.
Breakfast - This was a rather small place for the amount of guest at the hotel and the breakfast staff were not the friendliest. Food option and choice was pretty good from all sorts of fruits, bread, Juices, Milk, Eggs, Bacon, Beans and Rice for our Asian friends. Even if the food was great I strongly believe that this was the low point on the hotel and needs to be rectified. Staff unfriendly at Breakfast and overcrowded breakfast area.

Friendliness and overall experience.
Besides the already mentioned problem at the breakfast, everyone else was extremely friendly and keen to help. From reception, to Cleaning ladies everyone made this experience a really good one.

+ Shuttle to Hua Hin ( 100 Baht ) per person.

I recommend this hotel to everyone looking for some peace of mind and a clean and well groomed resort near the ocean.

One of the most comfortable resorts I've experienced in Thailand, certainly in the HuaHin area, bar none.

For a family, this place is perfect. It's the anti-thesis to the claustrophobic styles of many hotels and resorts. (And many of us go to the beach to escape the claustrophobic conditions of the cities!)

It feels like a Florida/ Caribbean style resort.. with exterior hallways, wood finishes, wonderful beds and linens, large balconies, lush and open grounds, multiple pools and restaurants, plenty of activities, a long beachfront and sprawling spaces.

We usually aim for a higher price range but took the leap with Regent this past weekend and were very, very pleasantly surprised. The value is remarkable, even at rack-rate.

The staff were present and helpful but not intrusive, and Wan + the staff at the Kids Club were amazing.

Some notes; the beach is sandbagged, and there is a temporary construction path going across the beach access. This means that the beach is not going to look like it does at the condos a bit farther up the coast, but still offers better access than most other resorts/ hotels in the area; including the top-tier ones.
Importantly, the construction is quiet, near complete, and virtually invisible.

The tennis courts are not there any longer and the MTB course seems to be out of service, aside from Covid.

Great hotel set in stunning countryside next to beaches.
Very clean hotel and great service and very friendly staff.
Although we visited out of season there were still plenty of things to do
Beach and some parts of hotel were being refurbished during our visit, but that did not spoil our stay

Really enjoying our stay here. The pool is great, very nice temperature. The beach is really close and you can walk to other restaurants either left or right when you walk onto the beach. Or you can use the free tuktuk service to bring you places in the resort.

We are only staying here on this trip, and I feel like prices are high for Thai standards. But seem very fair to me. Food and drinks are good, and the breakfast buffet is very nice and extensive.

Staff is very nice and helpful. Really love and recommend this place.

I saw a review from 7 months ago that said the chalets don't have WiFi, but they must have changed that, because now they do. WiFi in the rooms, and the same network at the pool and in other areas.

Do bring mosquito spray, or buy it at the mini mart here. They bite.

In love with cha am beach because of this hotel. Celebrated New Years in cha am at regent and it was one of the best experiences ever. This property is huge with a private beach. Not too crowded and recommended for a peaceful stay. Rates are affordable and the rooms are spacious and beautiful. The one shown in the picture I attached is a superior and affordable room. For sea view you have to pay an extra 600 baht. Breakfast is 500 baht per person. Can book room with our without breakfast. View is spectacular and the swimming pool is huge. There are two restaurants ( thai and Italian). Italian restaurant is on the beachfront. Food is good but there aren’t plenty of options in Thai menu. Beautiful property with awesome view in a good price.

Very quiet and idilic in October. We had our own little beach which was very quiet. To the left of the resort the sand is more suitable. The pool is large with plenty of space around it. The chalets were clean, cool and comfortable. The breakfast is 390 bhat if it's not included in your package. Not sure about transportation into town as we have a car. Once again, this is a very chilled resort.
