Actually, overall everything is very good. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and beautiful. It's fun to see the food preparation part. Every menu are very creative ,delicious and beautiful ,but the large course that we have took a little too long to serve. Other than that, there was nothing to complain about. FC chef tam 🫶🏻

This is one of the best creative Thai cuisine restaurants. Using mostly premium local products all over Thailand. All dishes were well-blended and delicious. Good presentation. Attentive service. Nice decorated atmosphere. Prices were on the high side.

Baan Tepa is an exceptional fine dining restaurant ..I am very impressed with its outstanding service, incredibly delicious food, beautiful presentation, and inviting ambiance.

Located in a heavily congested traffic zone, please leave time for traffic (bts mrt do not reach this area). For those arriving by private vehicle, the restaurant provides sufficient parking for the customers.

The dining experience begins with a guided tour of the organic garden at the back of the restaurant, followed by the serving of 2-3 appetizers. Then, guests are escorted inside for the main courses, with the entire experience lasting approximately 3 hours. The food is served continuously without any lapses.

The service is outstanding, with no faults whatsoever. Customers feel the genuine care and professionalism from every staff member, who are both friendly and professional.

Overall, Baan Tepa deserves its 2-star Michelin rating.

Went to Baan Tepa during our first night in Bangkok, and I don’t know how we will be able to top this experience! Chef Tam and her team are exceptional - much deserving of their second star. Each team member took such care in their service - taking time to remember our names and customize the experience for us. Don’t even think about doing only 6 courses - you want 9!! Wine pairing is super interesting, with unexpected wines we’d never had before (Thai honey wine). Baan Tepa is really operating at a different level - will dream of this food for some time to come

They have got 2 Michelin stars this year. So we booked our dinner for three of us. The traffic on Ramkamhaeng street was very bad. We arrived at the restaurant 30 minutes later than the appointment.

The restaurant is like a big house with many trees. The staff are professional, friendly and well English spoken.

When we arrived, they welcomed us by bring us at the back of the restaurant. There us a garden of edible vegetables and herbs. The staff explained about many kinds of plants and herbs they have grown by themselves. Very nice back yard close to a canel.

Then, they served us some interesting drinks before bringing us back inside the restaurant.

It is a nice house with classic decoratiom. All staff are friendly and welcoming. Only one thing I would like to comment is how they set up the tables. Too crowded and too opening. We would prefer to sit in more private set-up. The atmosphere could be better. However their great service helps.

Food is very delicious from the first to the last. Very impressive. Well decorated. We three enjoynour dinner here a lot. Thank you baan Tepa.

Highly recommended and we will definitely come back.

The experience I had at Baan Tepa exceeded my highest expectations. What I experienced was not just incredible food, but a rich and colorful story behind the restaurant, team, and food by conversing with different team members. The human connection that the team seeks to provide elevates the dining experience to a whole new level.

The team was especially accommodating to my schedule, and I truly truly enjoyed being able to have dinner and to tour the garden and the former house of Chef Tam's grandparents.

The 9-course dinner provides clear inspiration of sustainability, and throughout the night it became very clear to me how passionate everyone was about the food and the mission.

While I cannot say how other famous Michelin restaurants such as Potong and Sorn are, if you are considering these options, I can say with full confidence that Baan Tepa will be an incredibly memorable experience.

Best dining experience in Bangkok!

The staffs are hospitable and they explained each dishes thoroughly.
The food is fantastic, fresh ingredients, myriads of spices and unique presentation.

We were allocated a private area as we were a big group.

The staff also brought us to garden tour n house tour.

Will definitely visit again!

Baan Tepa offers a truly amazing ‘food journey through Thailand.’ The restaurant lives up to its vision of offering an experience of dining in the chef’s grandmother’s house. The menu, based on traditional Thai recipes, is elevated to the levels of high cuisine.

In a nutshell, the evening was immensely enjoyable, albeit pricey (reflecting the prices of European Michelin-starred restaurants). The crab meat and Wagyu beef were among the best I’ve ever had. Additionally, the Negroni was a highlight, featuring gin aged for 48 hours in a coconut

Dining here was a culinary experience. Each dish was special and bursting with flavor. Service was very friendly and attentive. Excellent cocktail and mocktail list. Loved the artwork.

Everyone should experience a meal like this at least once in their lifetime! I can't say enough kind things about the staff here. They were extremely professional, polite and knowledgeable. Due to rush hour traffic, we were very late. They were very happy to accommodate us and still made our anniversary dinner very special. They even saved us the best table in the restaurant, directly in front of the kitchen where the final plating touches are done. We started off with a unique tour of the kitchen and a bonus pallette cleansing introduction to our culinary experience. Every dish was well thought out and perfectly paired with a delicious selection of drinks. My husband and I truly had a beautiful time here and would love to visit again!

Had such a great time in Baan Tepa! Definitely worth braving the Bangkok traffic to get to the eastern side of the city (leave an hour early from central Bangkok even if Google Maps / Waze says differently).

Had the 9 course menu- standouts are the black squid ink & crab crab crab. Drinks are great- the coconut negroni is soooo good.

What a lovely home and garden + awesome playlist made the dinner so enjoyable.

Honestly, well-deserved two Michelin star. Having been to multiple Michelin restaurants, I must say this one of the best. The perfect balance of good service, excellent cuisine, food is incredible! 10/10. Will definitely come again!

Pretty amazing dining experience !
It’s about showcasing local flavours and produce.
Right from start to finish it was truly delightful culinary journey .

Prior to table service ,you get led into kitchen and a chef will introduce to you a first bite , we got served charred kale and a refreshing shot of green apple and kale.

Appetisers was a hit , I loved the dried fish with different combi of relish on top .

Had the Dong Dang noodles it’s like squid ink pasta but done way better , the chewy noodle and pieces of squid put together in a flavourful black sauce .

The grilled river prawn is a 10/10 dish , prawn was perfectly grilled , not over cooked , flesh was tender and glazed with with prawn fat .

The veggie dish served cold, bit of cabbage was unexpected but very well put together .

Wow very wow… I enjoyed every single dish of the evening and I am so glad I ate at Baan Tepa.
We were brought to the kitchen for a small introduction and viewing where we had a small snack and welcome drink.
The dishes were exquisite and excellent and I would recommend getting the full experience. From the start to end - every dish served was outstanding. As I had a bad stomach that day , I ordered tea to go with my meal.. and oh my… even the tea making process was so fun to watch. I took a glance at their wine list and they do have a good and wide selection. Service was great and attentive ..
if you are going from Siam area, be prepared for very busy traffic and slow Bangkok traffic. I left my hotel 1 hour ahead of time as was still 30 minutes late! Thankfully, the restaurant was kind enough to wait for me.. I’m grateful for this meal and would certainly be back again at some point .. Also, the staff will take you for a garden tour.. they plant their own herbs and stuff so it’s pretty cool.

This is probably one of the most amazing dining experience I had this year.
For starter, we were brought to the kitchen for a welcoming introduction and amuse bouche and welcome drinks. Each of the 9 course dishes was as impressive as another - desserts included. None of them fell short. I was also genuinely impressed by the level of their cocktails - do yourself a favour and try the coconut negroni.
To end the night, we were given a lovely garden tour to help us digest and taste the in house grown herbs that were used throughout dinner.
In short - this was an unforgettable experience and I’m hoping to come back again.

We went to Baan Tepa yesterday to celebrate Valentine's Day in advance. We had a great time there and really enjoyed the food, every dish had an interesting story, and the service was great we will definitely go back again!!

Super well executed Thai food. You can tell the Chef takes careful consideration in highlighting the farmers/ingredients, sustainability and respecting the traditional Thai dishes which inspired the menu. The main flavour of each dish pays right

homage to Traditional Thai roots yet the overall result is still exciting even for Thais.
We tried the 9 course and my top 3 is 1) from the sea 2) heart of thailand: nam prik 3) tomatoes of thailand. The amuse bouche (consisting of clam and apple soup) is right up there as well.
What also stands out is also the service. K.Nid and the entire staff were attentive, really knowledgeable and very accommodating. There’s a tour of the vegetable garden as well. Well renovated venue.

A special meal to kick off our honeymoon. We have been to a few tasting menu restaurants, this was our favorite by far! Everything was delicious and we loved the care and descriptions from staff to explain the dishes. Beautiful environment and wonderful experience.

TLDR; Best meal in Bangkok

Absolute highlight of our trip, our final dinner in Bangkok at Baan Tepa. A tranquil oasis nestled in bustling Bangkok, Chef Tam and her team blew us away with her ability to highlight classic Thai flavours and champion Thai produce, often sourced straight from the restaurant garden.

The photos are of the intermezzo of a variety of Thai tomatoes, macadamia and gooseberry; it was absolutely delicious and a playful and Thaicentric alternative to yet-another-boring sorbet. This dish may be familiar as it is featured prominently in the press from all the well deserved awards and recognition that Baan Tepa is receiving internationally. Although seemingly simple, I think it really emphasized the quality of the local produce and Chef Tam's confidence in her palate and menu.

The rest of the dinner was impeccable, including the tailored cocktail list sharing an equal focus on Thai flavours and locally sourced wines and spirits. The negroni aged in individual coconut shells was delicious, the macerated coconut really balanced the dryness of the vermouth and campari.

We were blown away by every aspect of our night, especially by the care and kindness of the front of house staff who gave us a personal tour through the restaurant and gardens and graciously hosted us through our entire 9 course meal. I really enjoyed their explanation of the courses and I could really feel their pride and zeal in showcasing their native flavours and produce.

Definitely our favourite meal in Bangkok and will be the first restaurant we book when we return.
