Beautiful hotel, great location and lovely staff. A lovely authentic olde-worldly feel and although there are parts looking a little tired, incredible value for what you get!

The design and services of the hotel are very unique. Everything from the food to the environment is very nice. However, there may be a little problem in local transportation from the location of the hotel to the more popular market for normal shopping.

We had a wonderful stay, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was clean and very pleasant, the bed was so comfortable! The only complaint I could have is the location is quite far from the main area of town, but it is so close to both subway lines and the canal boat (which was really enjoyable to take into town) that it isn’t really an issue. There are also good restaurants in the area. Overall a very good experience!

Great service, amazing hotel design. Lovely rooms. Makes you feel like you're in a different era. Rooms are fully equipped with what you need and more. It's not in the center of everything but manageable via cab if you don't mind a bit of traffic along the way. Value for money too.

The feel is closer to a luxury apartment than a hotel: personal washing/drying machine, a stove and basically a pantry for your own personal use. You get a classic rustic deco and they have the friendliest staff too. We got a free upgrade to deluxe rooms. Highly recommended especially considering the affordable price!

I stayed here for 5 days on my own and absolutely loved it. All of the staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. The internet connection was very good to work from inside the rooms and everything was sparkling clean.

About the sound issues, I stayed in 2 non-balcony rooms that were perfectly sound proofed. The 3rd room was a balcony room and you can hear the cars slightly but it wasn't an issue.

Will definitely be back in the future. Thanks.

The hotel was excellently renovated and the staff were amazing. Super friendly and ready to help with anything. The rooms were beautiful and the bed was excellent. The feel of the hotel is like a resort with all the great amenities. Speak to the staff if you need anything and they will help you.

They have a limousine pickup service which you can avail if you let them know in advance but a taxi service from the airport is cheaper, make sure they run the meter.

There is a family mart just next door and attached to the hotel, but not part of it, is a dominoes pizza. In the hotel is a lovely restaurant which serves great food, the waiters could be a little more polite though.

This is a beautiful hotel which was recently renovated. It's more like an apartment rental as you have a stove, washing machine, microwave, washing up sink and mini fridge.

The only downer was that the rest were only 2 sunbeds at the pool but there were chairs to use instead. Definatley give this hotel a go. You will be so happy afterwards.

Having just returned from a 10 month stay in one of the hotel's serviced apartments, we would like to say how wonderful the Metropole is. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, with great attention to detail, and the rooms are fully equipped - including a washer/dryer and coffee machine. The location is also ideal, next to Thonglor pier and a short ride away from the BTS.

The highlight however were the staff, they were absolutely fantastic. They were so attentive, helpful and thoughtful throughout our time there, they couldn't do enough for us. We were made to feel so welcome, and they went the extra mile to make our stay extra special.

We are so grateful for our time there, and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit Bangkok.

Very much recommended. The room was great, I loved the design and the style of the hotel, and the receptionist K. Sara was especially friendly and helpful. I'll be back.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel for 2 nights. Except for the fact that the location is a bit inconvenient, everything else is simply stellar. From the customer service during check-in to the room service and the quality of linen, we were extremely pleased with it all.

Good, trendy high class hotel seems like 5 stars hotel. Counter staff are Super friendly and helpful. Only thing is the entrance to the hotel lobby might be missed by many taxi Drivers, uber or Grab Drivers.

Hotel should put a bigger sign at the junction as the hotel entrance is rather narrow and sharp coming down from Soi 55 bridge. Have to make a sharp turn from the traffic lights.

Rooms are very good and given 5 stars hospitality service. Interior gives you a step back in the pass feeling. Bar is cosy and quiet.

Overall, found the hotel absolutely stunning, with its mixture of classic colonial style and cool modern touches with perfect service.

We enjoyed staying at Metropole Bangkok. There are not many things to do in the neighborhood, but given the size of Bangkok you require taking an uber, taxi or tuktuk to get anywhere anyways. The hotel room had an outstanding set up. A modern bathroom, a well stocked kitchen and a comfortable bed. The staff will gladly accommodate your requests. The restaurant was ok. Breakfast buffet was a little pricey for what it offered (with a kitchen in the room there is little need to spend $10 on breakfast per person). Dinner was decent and the bartenders knew what they were doing. The spa at Metropole was a convenient way to relax at the end of the day. The pool is an odd size but lengthy enough for a swim. The changing room had a sauna that heated up quickly, lockers with keys and fresh towels. The only negative about Metropole is the way to get from the hotel to the pool area. You have to come out the front entrance and walk through the drive way/parking area to the end of the building. It would be nice if there was a more private way to get to the pool. With that said, we had a very positive experience and would stay at Metropole again.

I like the location and the size of the hotel. They provide washing machine. Stove. Microwave. Staffs are really helpful. And the hotel is quiet. I just have short stay and going to Suvannabumi airport in the early morning. Quite convenient to me.

I'll start with the main drawback: pretty far from BTS, MRT and most of the public transportation. Located at the corner of Thong Lo street (the rest of the road is a pretty nice neighborhood with plenty of cafe and restaurants if you are willing for a long walk). There's a water taxi station just right behind the building that'll take you to Asok where the public transportations are (11 baht). However, the water taxi is only available during the day.

The hotel is smaller than I expected, but still very comfy packed with amenities. Kitchenettes, even washer, and dryer! Great option for an extended stay. The best part of the hotel is the staff. They're super friendly and do care about their guests. I arrived early and asked if I can get admitted before my check-in window and they granted my wish! Thanks, Metropole, I'll be coming back and certainly recommend this to other people.

Great value on the deal I got through Agoda. And, after all the very hard beds I had coped with up to this point, the mattress felt like sleeping on a cloud. Location is not the best in regards to clubs and restaurants but it was just an overnight stay before flying out next morning. 50 baht taxi ride to nearby Airport Sky train.
