We randomly googled this place and visited this place via our rented motorbike. The place is a nice drive through a village. There are a lot of 🐒 in this place. Also, there are many varieties of fish in the pond. There are 2 caves. One of the caves is a 10 min trek uphill and you will be welcomed with a gorgeous cave. Inside the cave is a beautiful statue of Buddha. You can also find a new shrine, another small cave and an old Stupa ( resembling mount Meru) in the premises. I highly recommend going here. It's a very off beat place.

Very beautiful complex. The temple is nothing special when it comes to architectural beauty but the way to get up to the cave, the view point and the main attraction: monkeys, are enough reason to give it a check.

There’s no entrance fee, but you can buy either monkey or fish food for 20 baht.

There are sticks at the entrance, it’s recommended carrying them during your visit cause monkey won’t trust your word if you tell them that there’s no food in your backpack, they prefer to check themselves 😬

Plenty of monkeys around this place . you can buy baskets of fruit to feed them. They are generally quite approachable but there are a few that may show aggression. Do carry a stick with you just in case . Can climb up the stairs to visit a wat in the cave as well. Overall lovely place to spend an afternoon !

These monkeys are very cute. You can buy for 20 baht some bananas or nuts and feed the monkeys. They eat from your hands. No worries, they are not agressive, just curious.

The monkeys are hilarious. I was very afraid at the start and then we started to feed the hungry monkeys and fed the week ones and it was an amazing experiance.

Not a lot of tourist here. Very enjoyable time feeding the fish and especially the monkeys at the temple. Beautiful scenery.

The monkeys love bananas and you can buy a small bucket of them to feed the monkeys. I always hold the bucket on my head and take 1 out at a time, otherwise you’ll get a monkey mugging. My family said that this free experience was better than anything else they’d done in Chiang Rai

ALWAYS carry a bamboo stick with you here. Because although a lot of the moneys look cute, a lot of them won't hesitate to charge and grad you if feel threatened. Of coarse they love getting bananas from you, and thats really the only way to get them to come close to you for a good picture moment. Otherwise, the hike up the hundreds of stairs is debatable weither its worth it to just see inside a small cave with just one statue. Still good exercise lol

This temple is actually really cool, despite all of the monkeys hanging around. There is a nice chedi and after climbing a whole lot of stairs, there is a statue of Buddha hidden in a cave at the top. The view from the top isn't bad either. Just hold on to your belongings because the monkeys with steal your stuff if you're not careful.

Really really cool temple. Very clean, has beautiful buildings, and the cave is breathtaking. Make sure to take a flashlight with if you want to go deep. The phones' torch won't do it. Also, please be careful of the monkeys. They aren't as aggressive as in other areas of Thailand, but they will come up to you to grab your bags and food.

Very beautiful, it was so cute to see the monkeys. You can even buy food and feed the monkeys and also the fish on your own. You get a stick to protect your self in the case of a monkey getting angry. The temples around are also beautiful. It’s definitely a place where you could bring kids and worth the visit if you want to see monkeys in their natural habit!

If you like monkeys as much as we do you will have a blast here. They are everywhere, cavorting and playing. They largely ignore you until you start to feed them, at which point prepare to be swarmed and to have them try (or, in our case, succeed) to steal the food bucket. As a bonus, the setting is very attractive, and a brief but vigorous hike up a series of steep steps takes you to a nice lookout point and later to a small cave with a temple inside.
