A-Star Phulare Valley Chiang Rai Resort

Stayed here for 2 nights with extended family. We had a regular room and a pool villa. The pool villa is definitely worth the money. You get a decent sized mostly private swimming pool, crystal clear water. The resort grounds are well maintained and beautiful.

Some things are showing some age around the resort, but overall no real complaints. God selection at the breakfast buffet.

Best hotel I have ever visited in Thailand. Staff is very well trained and attentive. The hotel rooms are clean and beautiful. The view of the mountains is wonderful. Fast WiFi connection. Very good food and wide choice. Thai and international cuisine. Good breakfast. Your own car is recommended, as the hotel is a bit out of town.

A most excellent resort and spa. This is the jewell of Northern Thailand in Chiang Rai. The care each guest receives makes this a pleasurable and relaxing experience. Your room is a separate cottage with a great view of the surrounding mountains. The menu and the meal service have been complete and worth every penny. Yes, we will be back.

The mountain backdrop is breath taking. I was there in rainy July. Despite the rain, the mountains looked gorgeous with fog layers making you feel as if you are in a story tale. Rooms are new and comfortable, 4 stars. Free wifi. The pool was also very nice with sections for children and even toddlers. Breakfast was nice with lots of choices. Their seminar room eas also good along with the catering service. Highly recommended.

Fabulous resort, It is a little far from town, with no easy transport to and from. We used "Grab" rideshare to get around, look online for coupons, you can save a lot, or have your own car/hire. If you are looking for seclusion in a relaxing natural environment then this is the place for you. Buffet breakfast was amazing. We would stay here again.

I stayed at 6 hotels in Thailand, and this was by far my favorite. I'd love to come back and just spend a week at the A-Star - it was truly magical. The food was good, the room was amazing, and everywhere you look there is beauty. They even grow some of the food they serve there. I'll be back some day!

I had a good time here with my husband. It's very nice place. Clean room and nice view. Bar and swimming pool are great 😍 we will bring our friends back when we have a chance for sure.

Our bungalow room was adorable. Floors are a bit slick but otherwise the room was a good size, comfortable bed, and good quality WiFi. Dinner at the hotel was one of the best meals I've had in Thailand. Hotel bar on the expensive side.

I stayed in a pool villa for 6 nights .
it was a vers spacious room that could be devided into two by a sliding door.
the room was very clean and very well maintained .
bathroom had a spacious shower and a bathtub .
huge comfortable bed and great aircon .
good choice of Thai and western food for breakfast .
the grounds are very well kept and look beautiful .
the staff always helpful and smiling .
Will stay there again.

Got here through Gate One Travel. It was a long ride from the airport but it was worth it. The resort was a collection of bungalos, one per couple with a central front desk, pool, recreation area and dining area. We had dinner when we first arrived and socialized then went to our bungalos. In the morning the tour group went to the golden triangle after the breakfast buffet included with the room.

My son and I opted to stay at the resort and take it easy. We worked out in the air conditioned, small, exercise room. I did the elliptical and treadmill and later did some light dumbells. Then I went swimming in the infinity pool which faces the beautiful mountains without obstruction. It was raining but I didnt care it was very peaceful. It wasnt even cold either. We all had buffet lunch then had our siesta in anticipation for dinner.

We went to the outdoor dinner with fireplace near the front entrance to the hotel. There was live entertainment which was surprisingly good. He played a guitar and electronic background to popular 70s, 80s and 90s music and he was not bad at all. We tipped him pretty well. We were the only family there and we ate like kings for an inexpensive price. Meat, seafood and vegetables were on the menu. The golden triangle tour came back and they looked haggered lol. They told us we were lucking to stay back. We all ate well and went to bed. It was peaceful and a very nice place. If we stayed longer I would have gone quad biking and hiking but that will be for the next trip.

A very charming, relaxing resort. It's clean and the service great. The mountain setting and well-groomed surroundings were perfect. We wish we could have stayed longer.

One of the best private resort in Chiang Rai with agoda gold reward gurantee. The acomdation was good with varies of choice suitable for couple up to group travelling.
You might check out the outdoor activities such as aechery, sheep feedind, and Atv with 3 different course of your choice.
The vegetable and fruit was picked freah feom resort farm direcrly to kitchen, the food and beverage price was adverage around 200-300b per head. breakfast are good their plenty of menu from international foods to local foods.
The service are great all the staff are nice and Friendly.
If you are looking for a private trip with your couple of family in Chiang Rai, A-Star Phulare Valley are one of the best choice. Enjoy :)

Love everything here, the view, the room, food and service. We forgot a wallet in the room and the staff contacted us and arranged the taxi to deliver it. Will definitely stay here again if we go to CR again.

Had the pleasure of staying here for one night for a work trip and I was blown away. Absolutely spectacular. I would love to come back. One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever seen.

Country setting for a rather elegant Thailand villa experience as we travelled back to Bangkok from Chiang Mai. Infinity pool, cozy outside bar with happy hour and restaurant will not disappoint.

Beautiful place, we loved our private pool as well as the large main pool next to the bar. They had a hilarious bartender working who made excellent drinks!

Very relaxing and peaceful resort. Go there is you don't want to be bothered by the rest of the world. Bit out of town if you got the itch to go to the city. Only go here to get away.

It was my first time to be here and I loved it. It is a well organized resort in the middle of the nature. Services are very good and staffs are helpful.

Breathtaking views. I honestly did not want to leave! Just book a night here to take pictures of yourself in their infinity pool that overlooks the mountains and make all your friends jealous!
