Gims Resort

Lovely individual chalets in a peaceful surrounding. A couple of kilometres out of town and we had a bit of difficulty finding it. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about local attractions. Would definitely stay longer another time.

Do it. If you have wheels. Rooms are super romantic facing a rice paddy. Patios are a great spot to kill some beers and chat the night away. Beds are a bit hard but you are probably used to it if you've been in Thailand for a while.

Very clean and quiet family-run resort with a beautiful garden. If you have a car or a bike I would absolutely recommend this place! We also liked the bicycles which are for free use.

Wonderful peaceful location. Close to airport and 5 minutes by scooter or Tuktuk to center of Mae Hong Som.

Nice rooms except there was no bed sheet. This has happened to us across Thailand. The quilt on top probably isn't washed very often so it was uncomfortable using it. The beds are really hard too. The actual buildings are great. Nice bathrooms and WiFi. The location isn't close to the night market or anything. There is no breakfast so leave early for town or buy something the night before. Overall, a good place but a couple weird inconveniences.

Clean room, friendly staffs...as other comments...they are right. Didn't get 5 stars? Abit outskirt, Abit inconvenience, takes about 5 minutes ride to the nearest 7 eleven, aircond...1hp..too low for the big room, during hot season, need better acond, all windows is actually see thru, with thin curtain, if walk naked, be ready to show off a little....no harm. Overall...good value for money
