I had an amazing dining experience at Teppen Sathorn， one of the most creative and delicious Japanese meals I've ever had!

We were celebrating birthday here, and the staff helped by singing and dancing to celebrate. The vibe was amazing! They also handled everything at the restaurant in advance perfectly, no details were missed. It was such a fun celebration experience!

I gotta talk about the flaming beef tongue here. It's seriously the best beef tongue I've ever had, beating out all the ones I've tried in Japan! Everyone who comes here needs to give it a try.

Splendid experience! The food was exquisite! Absolutely everything was extremely tasty. Didn't take too many pictures because was too busy enjoying the experience but this fabulous dessert and performance needed to be documented!
Ps. Some other guests were celebrating their birthday and the staff was very involved in making it special which was very sweet to observe.

One of our favorite Japanese restaurants in Bangkok. Awesome atmosphere accompanied by amazing food and great cocktails. Staff is incredibly friendly, and chef is talented. A definite hip place to go!

The restaurant specializes in premium dishes, ranging from exquisite beef to fresh sashimi. Its open kitchen design allows diners to witness the culinary action, adding to the enjoyment. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between comfort and excitement. The staff are not only super energetic but also display utmost professionalism. Each dish served is a testament to deliciousness and high quality. Additionally, the drink menu is diverse, catering to various preferences. My visit was marked by fun and a memorable dining experience.

I would eat here every day if I lived in Bangkok. If Teppen Sathorn opens a location in NYC, I will be their first customer. I discovered this restaurant randomly following a craving and after Googling sushi in the area. This is a sushi house that puts all other sushi homes to bed. Not only is the service and attention five-star, but every single raw dish is essentially perfection. With just two days in the city before flying back to NYC, I had to come here for all my primary meals both days after discovering. There is no fresher fish in BKK - and it holds a candle to the best in NYC and Tokyo, too. Each piece of fish was perfectly portioned and of the highest quality. Beyond this, each dish was creatively presented and fairly priced. You cannot go wrong with any raw fish order in any variation - just make sure you grab a little uni on top! Pure enjoyment, visual delight, spotless service. Can't wait to come back next year. Many thanks to my lovely waitress for being a ray of sunshine in my visit!

This Izakaya restaurant is superb! They have really good taste of foods. The first floor is quite fun with real japanese Iratchai Masee style 😅😅😅. The second floor is more quite.

During my visit to the Japanese restaurant Tappen, I was immersed in a delightful culinary experience. The atmosphere was authentically Japanese, with elegant decor and music. The menu featured a variety of traditional dishes, including sushi, sashimi, all expertly prepared and presented. The highlight was the interactive Tappenyaki cooking, where chefs entertained with their skillful maneuvers right at the table. The service was attentive and courteous, making the dining experience truly enjoyable. Overall, Tappen offered a memorable taste of Japan through its exquisite cuisine and warm hospitality.

Spectacular food experience in Sathorn! I’ve been going to the original one in Ekkamai for years now. Very happy to have a Teppen in Sathorn as well.

The restaurant is bigger than the one in Ekkamai. The food quality is the same. They have great sashimi and amazing Japanese dishes across the menu. Service is great and the place beautiful.

Teppen’s Aburi Salmon Don has been my favorite dish since 2019! BUT.. I’d be really appreciated if you bring the previous menu back, now the menu has changed, much less options than the past and my other favorite menu has gone. 🥹

Food is great - the Bara chirashi Don and ocean 10 bowls were fresh and delicious. The rice is also so good I can eat it on its own.

The cream tofu espresso was really interesting!

Certain food items have ‘performance’ elements which are indicated on the menu.

The best part is the service - service staff are friendly and helpful.

After we finished our meal we sat around watching the staff prepare other dishes and it was really nice seeing the chef prepare the food with love, passion and dedication.

It was really a joyful meal!

Recommended dish
- Saba sushi roll : flame-grilled smell is terrific ! blended with lightly seasoned rice. One downside is the seaweed turned chewy too fast!!
- Hamachi/Kanpachi sashimi : quality is unreal ! (if you like the dish 'Terra' is another place to try) Though, abit pricey for me (I'm a budget kinda guy :P)
- Truffle-kani miso toast : Same vibe with other fancy restaurants but with a bigger bite!
- Gyutan : Well-cooked ! Not chewy ! Comes with great sauces/salt !

Overall, this place is an easy recommendation to anyone; good food, good place, friendly staff, and reasonable price!

Amazing Japanese restaurant! I have dinner here. All menus is really good. Raw materials are fresh, and high quality. Staffs are really friendly. They will introduce you every dishes and shows some cook on dish. It is really exciting and impressive.

When you dive here, you can follow google map, and park your car at the car park on this road. 40฿/hr.

Less than 10 mins walk from BTS. Plently of parking lots around as well.

Super super friendly staffs! They will greet you with 120% energy since your very first step to the place.

This place can throw you a big birthday song as well 🎂🥳 "the whole" staffs will come and dance around your table~ no kidding.

Quite vibrant and loud atmosphere, if you want an uplifting night, I'd recommend it.

2nd time back at Teppen Sathorn, had an amazing time my previous visit and been wanting to bring my kids back again. So thankful to the staff here especially Head Chef for being so kind and fun to make sure we had an amazing time here. Food is amazing, and service is impeccable. Highly recommended for all occasions. We especially enjoyed the gyutan and kagoshima beef!
