Il Bolognese

First night of a holiday in Bangkok and family took us here for food. It is wonderful. Who knew you had to go all the way to Bangkok for amazing Italian food! ALL food was amazing. They use the best ingredients and turn it all into delicious mouthfuls of heaven. It truly was the best Italian food I have ever eaten. The restaurant is cosy and the staff and very friendly and attentive. Would definitely go back! Oh and there’s a giant bear that fits on a giant bench that everyone has photos taken on 🤷🏻‍♀

Last night was our last night in Bangkok and very happy we chose Il Bolognese for dinner. Nice atmosphere and the food was delicious. Probably best Italian restaurant I have been in a long time. Service was great. If this restaurant would be in our own neighbourhood, it would for sure become a regular one.

Tried out the restaurant after finding about it from acquaintances and then checked out the impressive Google reviews, well certainly didn’t regret my decision of dining here.
Every single dish we ordered was thoroughly enjoyed by all of us. I even loved the amuse bouche, complimentary breads and bread sticks!
If you’re very particular about your pizzas and don’t want one of those americanised versions of pizza but AUTHENTIC ones, then Il Bolognese is the place!! and because everything we ordered was so so so good, it’s hard for me to choose the star of the dinner.

It’s pricey but we didn’t mind paying the price for the food we had. The ingredients were fresh and of high quality so worth the price! The atmosphere was cosy and classy. Staff was attentive and quick but wish they could converse in English better. We asked one of the staffs a question in English but they couldn’t comprehend us until we had to talk in our broken Thai.

Would love to be back for more dishes and experience.

Pizzeria Ristorante IL BOLOGNESE offers a very pleasant humble elegance. Food is good, highlighting authentic Italian flavors, and prices are fair. It's a delightful dining spot that won't disappoint. Recommended 🇮🇹🍕🍝

Not an easy restaurant to locate, but they do put up a lot of signs starting from the entrance to the alley at the main road. Parking is very limited so be warned. Food was excellent, pricing is fair, and I would personally recommend the pizzas first and foremost. Only decided to pay a visit as it was recommended by a friend who was previously in Bangkok.

My 6th time here and still loving the place. This time, it was for a family Sunday lunch. We ordered wagyu ribeye, pizza,grilled prawns, risotto, spaghetti bolognese (of course!), pesto pasta, salad and a couple of awesome desserts. Only the pesto pasta although still good, it might not be as great as other dishes.
The ribeye, the spaghetti bolognese and the pizza were the real stars. The steak had a wonderful smoky aroma and the quality of the beef was top notch and it was one of best steaks you can find in BKK, on par with best steakhouses in the country. The spaghetti was al dente to my liking the and pizza was just amazing.
Staff was responsive and knowledgeable.
The restaurant is also very kid friendly and provide a complimentary small toy for my kid as well.

The service from the staff is excellent from parking attendants to serving staff. The chef was very friendly and even delivered our pizza to our table and topped off the pizza with fresh truffles. The atmosphere is very cozy and homey. Parking is slightly limited, but there are parking attendants who are helpful.

The food is excellent with very fresh ingredients. The wood-fired pizza has a very light and crunchy crust with great ingredients. The Burrata Parma ham pizza is highly recommended as well as the fresh pasta. Very nice desserts as well. Recommend the Creme Brulee

My favorite Italian restaurant in Bangkok!

I've eaten at this restaurant countless times yet it never fails to amaze me. The atmosphere is nice, the staffs are smiley, and the chef is very friendly. But the best part is the food! I've tried lots of dishes here but my number 1 remains unchanged, it's the Parma & Stracciatella pizza. It is to die for!! It's an authentic Italian pizza in Bangkok so it's not exactly cheap but definitely a price I'm willing to pay. You will not find an authentic Italian pizza this good anywhere else in Bangkok. I love love love Il Bolognese ❤🥹‼

Oh my parents went to celebrate their anniversary there and they gave my parents a free dessert which was really sweet of them.

I’ll Bolognese is a casual Italian tucked in a residential property behind all the large office towers at Sathorn.

We think the pizzas 🍕 and steaks 🥩 are extraordinary and there is a large wine selection that can be paired with the menu.

The owner of the restaurant is the same as another Italian restaurant, Enoteca, which emphasizes a fine dining atmosphere. Therefore, Italian architect Giancarlo Bonazza and his son Nicola decided to open another restaurant, Il Bolognese to serve Italian food in a more friendly trattoria style.

Recommended 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 and make sure you make reservations ahead.

1st visit and we already love the place and food. Wished we could have eaten more but we were just too stuffed with all the yummy food. Steak was especially good - melt in the mouth taste ~~ Awesome!

Love the friendly service by the staff and owner too. Will surely be back when we next visit Bangkok!

We love this Italian restaurant so much. We often visit this trattoria but this is the first time for our review. The restaurant have a good quality of ingredients, fine cooking and finest drink in this area. They also have an pizza oven for freshly baking.

Our favorite Italian restaurant in Bkk. We have been there at least 5 times already and can’t wait to go again. The service is great, the chef is very nice. He always comes to the table to greet you and make sure everything is fine. The food is delicious, I didn’t take many photos just because I couldn’t wait to start my meal. The pasta portions are huge and the pizza size is good.

One of the best Italian restaurant in Bangkok situated next to the Italian Embassy. This place offer wide variety of traditional Italian cuisine that taste exquisite. The highlights of the meal is definitely the truffle pasta that was cooked table side with quite the generous portion. The pizza is also top tier. Overall, the place is excellent for every meals of the day with both friends and family. Would recommend trying parma ham pizza and the truffle pasta.

One of the famous Italian Family restaurant with high score in reviews, which i totally agreed after first time visiting here. Best from my POV, Australian medium rare tenderloin beef. Love the wines and prices here, everything was in reasonable cost. Come back again for sure.
