Penglee Indian Grocery Store

Indian grocery shop at the heart of Bangkok.
Very nice and humble owner. You can get all groceries what Indian families need in their kitchen.
Shop is not very easy to find. There is a small wet fresh vegetable market at Asok and this shop is inside that wet market.
Parking at main road at your own risk. Many park there for 10-15 min so far I have not observed anybody got ticket. For safer side you can par at terminal 21 shopping mall where you get 4 hr free parking.
You can also buy good quality all Indian vegetables in wet market.
Penglee have 2nd shop at shukhumvit Soi 23 entrance left side.
You can also get Paneer, Thai Denmark fresh milk, natural yogurt and Amul items.

Indian grocery store with cheaper price range. Above all they have every grocery items required by an Indian expat.

First it was little tricky to navigate.. As it was inside the Asoke market. You have to take first left in the Asoke road, which actually doesn't look like a street entrance, but enter inside and navigate to extreme end of the market.

On surprise, I found Maggi noodles packets here 😜 You get curd, but not available all days. Better to reach them if you want fresh curd.

Also, I found the market to be good with all vegetables on optimal price range.

It's hard find as others mentioned in the reviews. And one more challenge is the closing time of the store. It close exactly at 5pm. So plan accordingly. See my photos to find the store.

This store is little inside difficult to find first time. It has most of the items for cooking also some ready to eat food items

A hidden Indian shop with everything you could ever wish for! Basmati rice, spices, snacks, Himalayan salt, nuts etc. are all available. The staff is very friendly, 100% recommended.

One stop shop for all Indian groceries in Bangkok. Situated in Sukhumvit. This place has most of the Indian grocery items and the best part is the owner understands the Indian names for each item so you don't have to Google translate.

Nice place to shop for spices and all things Indian if you live around that area. Note: The google map will take you on the footpath. The location of the shop is located on the first turn from terminal 21 and where you have to enter the first alley.

It's a very nice place to shop for Indian groceries. Staff is very helpful I am surprised to Thai selling Indian shop with huge success. I will give his number and line id where you can order online without visiting the shop.

Map- it's very easy after getting down from BTS Asok you will have Terminal 21 Opposite to BTS and walk straight to MRT station and you will find a narrow way inside where its return Asok Market then you have to walk straight till you find the shop PENG LEE STORE.

To find this shop, from Terminal 21 street level, walk left around the corner to Asoke, then enter the wet market and find the shop about 20 meters inside. Peng Lee sells all sorts of Indian spices, masalas and even fresh paneer.

The lady there is really nice and helped a lot. Must place for indian and Bangladeshi food ingredients

Amazing store right in the middle of Bangkok. No need to go to the Indian neighbourhood for shopping, they have everything you need here. Great prices and variety.

One of the good places to get Indian groceries. You get most of the stuff but the stock varies. Looking forward to visit again.
