Well, I will leave it up to my son to find the weirdest and most coolest temples in Bangkok!

You can take the BRT all the way to Wat Don stop then get out and someone google map your way there!

He wanted to see this temple because there’s some really cool figurines and what it’s known for!

Took many many pictures!

Make sure to follow Fauzia on YouTube Instagram and Facebook for all our amazing adventures in and around Thailand 🇹🇭!! My son and I absolutely loved touring this temple!

Unique temple which have a few carton figures . If you interested to take a look at David Beckham or Donald trump . You need to go across the other main building & take an evaluator to 2nd sty . Do ask the people that if you are unable to find it

This temple is off the tourists usual agenda but we'll worth a visit both for the on-going construction of this unique temple but also the famous noodle soup restaurant located within the complex. This temple rivals Wat Rong Khun - White Temple in Chiang Rai and will definitely be visited again once the refurbishment is complete.

There are few tourists, all locals praying and worshiping here, and the location is on the BTS line for easy transportation. Very suitable for a place to go around.

This temple is an absolute must when in Bangkok! We visited and fell in love with the design and the people we met there! The temple itself has a huge pop culture influence, kind of like the white temple in Chiang Rai, but not touristy at all!

Here you will find a lot of local people hanging out and they also have street food and an area where you can feed the fish in the river.

The local Thai people love to feed the fish because they believe it brings them good karma! I highly recommend visiting this temple when in Bangkok, you will not be disappointed!

Beautiful temple with amazing, modern statues and amazing paintings. There's even a David Beckham statue in the inner area. Easy to get to on the BRT express bus from Chong Nonsi. Highly worth a visit.

A temple that will keep you very entertained. The detail of the works is fantastic, excellent art created where the colors were made through mosaics, where the stories described, will surprise you. A fantastic mix of stories and characters. It was my first visit. I recommend it. Do not miss it!

Probably the most complex temple I've ever seen with countless sculptures depicting all types of fantastical creatures and being as well as pop culture characters and historical figures. Amazing experience admiring these finely crafted elements, and searching them to see all of the crazy and outlandish figures you can find.

New Bangkok landmark in making. Amazing details with lots of pop culture reference. The details will blow your mind. Many sculptures of animal angel are trying to represent equality, that anyone regardless of thier background once reached the enlightenment are all equal that we all should pay respect to them equality (to human form angels etc)

great temple complex by the river with some impressive buildings. this is a functioning community temple with funeral/cremation ceremonies taking place so some buildings are traditional in style but the main buildings inside the walled quadrangle are very creative. it really needs to be seen and experienced first hand but like White Temple in Chiang Rai there are popular culture figures used in artwork rather than just the usual depictions of buddha. it is a work in progress but the artistic ambition is impressive and this will probably be one if Bangkok's more prominent temples in the future. it is right on the river and has a pier although the chao phraya express boats do not go this far down river.k

One of a few places along Rama 3 road with public riverfront access and plenty of parking. You can feed the fish at the pier (many of them).

Here you can find great activities, appreciate modern art sculpture perfectly merged with a classic art, very insanely beautiful detailed. Feeding fishes is my little girl’s favorites activity.

Such a hidden gem. Love the craftmanship, imagination, and incorporation of Pop Culture, Greek, Egyptian etc motifs alongside Thai ones. This temple has a sense of freshness and modernity not found in most temples.

If you love pop culture, sculpture and mosaic this is the place for you!

The easiest way to this temple is by BRT bus which you can get up at Chong Nonsi BTS station. Chong Nonsi BTS station is equivalent to Sathon station of BRT. Wat Pariwat(B7) is 6 station away form Sathon(B1). The bus will park right in front of the temple.

You can find a lot of pop art here. One of them must be your childhood character such as superman, pikachu, pop eye or even Dragonball Z.

It also has a lot of beautiful sculpture mostly of half human half beast sculpture. The monitor lizard is so realistic that give me goosebump!!!

Their is also a lot of parking space! You can definitely drive here.

Amazing temple. There are loads of hand made sculptures on the outside walls of the temple including heroes and super heroes from different cultures and folklore. It is a very unique temple.
