Sam Chuk Market

Better than most other market I’ve been to.
Fairly cool to walk around. It’s not as hot and humid as some others. Lots of covered area.
They have hot food, drink, cold food, snack, dry food, fresh food, bric and brac, clothing, jewellery, shoes, hats, and more.
This is an old traditional market. Great walk and view. Make sure to try some food. 😊
There is a parking area near the gate 20 Baht / car.
Toilet is quite clean as well. 5 Baht to use. Money drop near the sink.

Interesting and enlightening with reference to the local foods on sale . Did tried some meatballs and fishballs (size varies up to the size of a volleyball), very delicious. Will definitely visit again.

A 100 years market is located at Tha Chin river. You can imagine how Bangkok looks like in the past where all the buildings are original. Many food stalls and restaurants you can enjoy. The free parking lot is located inside near the market only. Others you have to pay.

A fantastic place behind BigC in Samut Prakan. A little hard to find, but look for the garagehouse and you find it. A more than hundred year old facility and market. Here you can find anything from flipflops to herbal tea. Buy a cold beer and sit along the riverside. Its teraphy, and a nice break from the busy life outside. You find also some «restaurants» here serving plain Thai food street style. Recommended👍

Good local with wide variery of food, snacks and nonfiod items. Not so many people shop here. Items to high light are sundried fis, big pork ball and fried rice in a lotus leaf.

An amazing 100 + yr market. Lots of food and gift options. Many unusual eats to be found here. We came on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy. The sellers we encountered were all very kind and supportive.

Within the district is an old market built of wooden, lined up together on the west bank of the Tha Chin River: Image of the way of life of the people in the community, ancient architecture carved wooden eaves, Khun Chamnong Jinarak House Museum building - Chinese drugstore - Ancient Thai - Antique coffee shop - Antique photo shop, etc., are still in original condition, and suitable for conservation as another record of life along the Tha Chin River

This is a place of traditional community market where is a lot of food, drink, dessert, snack and consumable products in the old days. Coke shop is a good shop for sitting and drinking to hide yourself from high temperature outside and also has a small mesium of coca-cola on the 2/F, paying 20฿ per head to visit. I've recommended Baked Sa-Lee (ขนมสาลี่กรอบ), Deep-Fried white noodle with pineapple souces (หมี่กรอบซอสสัปปะรด), Salted seasame Thong-Muong (ทองม้วนงาเค็ม), Kao-Lamn (ข้าวหลามถาด), Roasted duck จ่าเฉิด (เป็ดย่างจ่าเฉิด), and more.... If you have time, there are many boats to bring you visit old mesuim along the river, approx. 50฿ per person. I met the owner of building near the market where is the parking, his bright-blue building is under construcion for the meeting place of senior people over 70+ having some activities with free and providing welcome drink and snack. He is very kind and knowing a lot of history in Sam Chuk, his building will be opened to welcome senior people over 70+ wihtin June, hopefully. Awaiting to go to Sam Chuk again for sure, very near to Bangkok just 1.30-2.00 hours. Recommend to have breakfast and lunch there. I will add photos later.

Old time market Thailand. Suphanburi Talad Sam Chuk or 100 year old market in Suphanburi. Nice place, stay masked. Can be crowded. Many traditionnal Thai sweets and food.

Big market many food and things

Lots of great shops for clothes, souvenirs, food. Very clean and the vendors were all very friendly.

Thai traditional market. Many Thai food, dessert, drinks even traditional products.Traditional kitchen equipments.

A must see market if you are in the vicinity. They call it the 100 year market, and when you walk on the narrow streets you know why. The buildings are made out of wood in old thai/chinese style.

Old Thai buildings, friendly proprietor, interesting products. Lots to enjoy in this excellent market. Off the beaten track for foreigners but well worth the detour.

First time here. Every bit as advertised ^_^ Foods are great. The only problem is that you can not eat them all. Will sure return.
