The Similan islands are open at about six months of the year, beginning in mid-October to mid-May. And only 2 islands are allowed to set foot on.

The Sail Rock is the most distinctive landmark at Donald Duck Bay and possibly the Similan Islands.

If you arrive early, it probably would be good to rush up to the veiwpoint, otherwise there could be quite a crowd (dangerous) in the limited space up there. The trek up is not difficult, but it could be dangerous after wet weather (possibly closed off).

Getting to the island will require early booking of trip with one of the operators allowed onto the islands. I came with Love Andaman, which probably cost a bit more, but with better comfort items such as chilled drinks.

The water is super clear! I went here with Love Andaman Tour. Amazing team. Such an energetic, helpful, and friendly. If you like to taking fish and ocean photos but you’re not good at diving, they will take a long vdo for you lol.

Visited the Similan Islands as part of a speedboat tour organised by Orca Travel in Phuket - one of the most beautiful islands we've seen off the west coast (definitely not as crowded as other islands), and one of the best snorkeling experiences we've had in Thailand!

our first pit stop for tour. the 2 hour drive + 1 hour 30 mins speedboat ride was so worth it. observatory point that overlooked the beach was luckily open as it was stormy yesterday. salt water beach with sand so nice and soft. great for swimming!

It's amazing place! There are beautiful nature, clear water, spectacular sceneries and snorkeling is really good there.

Ao Kuerk Bucht is one of the 11 Similan Islands. The water is so clear there is visibility to the sea floor at 60 feet deep.The sand is so soft compared to any other beach I've been to it is inexplicable. There are plenty of areas to snorkel and if you swim off to the sides there are more private swimming areas with soft sand only a few feet deep to take pictures just like these!:)

A but crowded but better than Phi Phi island, much better as this is a national park the quantity of people is restricted. It worth the extra hours in the morning because the place is magnificent for scuba diving and snorkeling, your choice. 👍🏻😃

This is the main and famous stop for similan island day trip. Book yourself an early morning trip to avoid crowd..

Went there in the early morning and it was great as there weren't a lot of people. Crystal clear water very beautiful.

Went there on a trip to Similan. Very beautiful beach. You also have a high view point and a national park with varane lizards

Visited today during boat holiday absolutely stunning beach with a short walk to the top of the island feature probably best to arrive early as the whole beach becomes crowded by lunch time the beach is soft white sand but the approach in the sea from the boat is rocky in places so coral shoes is my top tip

But be careful about corals. It's very painful.
You can eat Pineapple by cash.
There is shower places.

Obviously very touristy and busy but also very beautiful and waters perfectly clear and sand soft and white. A little piece of paradise.

What a gorgeous place to scuba and relax. The beach is stunning and the sand very fine. The hike up to the viewpoint is a must and will put you at complete ease. You can see straight through the crystal clear waters. Night diving was excelled as we saw eels on the hunt and octopus as well.
