Waylakin Cafe - เวลากิน คาเฟ่

Waylakin Cafe is located in Mixt Chatuchak (in the middle of the popular Chatuchak weekend market). Very conveniently located with air-conditioning and restrooms. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. She and the chef tried their best to communicate with us in English. We ordered rice with basil pork and rice with garlic pork. Both so good! The thai milk tea (hot and cold) is/are great!

Without doubt some of the best food we had in Bangkok. Yes you could eat for less at some of the street food stalls, bit you would not get the generous portion and/or quality present here. I think this is quite a new restaurant as is the adjoining mall. The staff however were very attentive and helpful. The menu itself consists of modern takes on traditional/classic Thai dishes and honestly I think I could have ordered anything and been happy. We ordered the Red duck curry with rice and salted egg, morning glory and chicken thigh curry with wet and crispy noodles. The care put into each dish and the flavours that followed were fantastic. There was a real depth that is hard to find and the meat was cooked perfectly. Very good value for money and I only wish I had one of these restaurants in my own country. Highly recommended.

The food is delicious! Good size. I ordered the stir fried rice noodle with roast duck.
The dish came with a lot of delicious and tender duck, cooked perfectly!
The coffee was very smooth to drink and I really liked it.
I also had a hot chocolate (chocolate latte) and it was very nice also.

50% discount and buy 1 donburi get 1 free, stir-fried spaghetti with clams and dried chilly (good texture for spaghetti but clams a bit small) not too salty , totally good. for donburi a bit on sweet side (love it) i smell sesame oil (love it). i order from delivery service.

Penang Kai jiaow is lights out here. Definitely would come back!!

One of my go to places to eat in JJ. Always good food with nice portions. I do wish they’d fix their blender or just remove frappes from the menu… they haven’t had them for over a year now.

Wonderful place to wind down from the oppressive heat at the weekend market. Every dish we ordered was delightful and satisfying. Pasta was cooked close to perfection.

大推！東西不貴有冷氣，環境乾淨，東西好吃！蒜豬肉飯豬肉很多還有附湯與沙拉，美式咖啡偏酸👍（70$）， 比雅馬遜苦到氣好太多了！
