Don Mueang International Airport

DMK international airport offers efficient services, with well-organized terminals and helpful staff. Security measures are stringent, ensuring passenger safety. However, occasional delays and crowded spaces can be drawbacks. Overall, it provides a satisfactory travel experience.

The old Bangkok airport. First one in Thailand. It was closed for a whole when Suvarnabhumi was build. But the city realized quick that it’s good to have two big airports.

The design is slightly old fashioned but very customer friendly. For domestic flights this airport is 100 times better than Suvarnabhumi. While after security check at Suvarnabhumi you don’t find ANY shops you find everything at Don Mueang. Fast food, local food, grocery shops, shopping malls, pharmacies and coffee shops. You can even get a massage.

Nice airport, good sign system, good service
Tried the shower room at the sleep box hotel at 4th floor at the departure area. Because we booked for 2 people, they give us a room for an hour use cost about 500baht
We rented a car from Thai Rent A Car (booked at klook) on the 1st floor deprture area and had great experience with that rent car, very recommended

The most easiest Immigration with self CheckIn Service available at the Terminal Entry itself. Very easy going people.

Such a great airport. I come and go here since 2005 and I still love it to fly from here. Nowadays the airport links is functioning but even with grab and taxi it’s easy to get here. Mostly all airlines work hard to guarantee a quick and smooth check in. Lovely all the food shops inside. So much space to sit and relax. Many Smartphone chargers 🔌.

Looks very well organized and it is customers/passengers oriented. It can as well be seen as a reminder of rules and respect that very often we disregard or tend to forget!
I could see and feel AC where ever I went errands in this airport (I went almost every). This is absolutely appreciable.
The information desk was really helpful and the employee absolutely nice.
The free shuttle bus system between both airports (Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi) has improved from 8 years ago : seats for passengers and sticker instead of the stamp on the hand and I guess they renewed the busses.
Last but not the least their kindness.

I like this old international Bangkok airport. Their small eateries are spread to almost every gates. The price of the meals , water , Thai tea, ice creams etc are not too expensive. I bought an ice cream mocha from DQ with toppings for only 80 baht. I saw Starbucks ranging from 150 - 200 baht.
The people working here are very friendly and gentle.

Beautiful airport in the Bangkok. All facilities are available. I have spend 2 hours there and meet different nationalities people there.

This review is regarding terminal 2, which is the domestic terminal. So, this airport is a much smaller airport than BKK. But it serves well even though it is a smaller airport. For one, it's not as crowded as BKK. Yes, the building looks and feels old, but it's run down, at least like La Guardia Airport 🤣. The kiosks were a considerable amount, so it was easy to self-check in. The Thai Lion Air I used, the ground crew, was very nice. The security queue was fast-flowing, not unlike BKK airport—also, there were lots of lounges to choose from once past the security.

Very happy to be here, the airport is not too big, clean and quite adequate, very happy to be able to explore Bangkok with all kinds of situations and conditions of this city, hope one day I can come back here again with a different atmosphere

Big airport, smooth immigration process. There are toilets at almost every gate, there are food sellers such as Starbucks, Dairy Queen, Boots, and others. There is also a place for reflection...
There is tap water and drinking water.

Efficient smooth processing, smal but varied choice of restaurants and shops spread along the way to the departure lounge.
Arrivals terminal is busy with long waits for airport taxis at the far end of the terminal unless you pay extra fur a private taxi in the arrivals lounge which gives you a five star service.

IN the last year and now has two floors, a food court and is clean, huge, efficient.

Fast clearance of customs no matter departure or arrival. Safe and clean. Wide selection of shops for duty free and restaurants as well. 30 minutes car distance to the city center.

Nice airport, close to impact convention centre.

The name placard system is a little strange, all drivers are not allowed, only a lady manages the coordination with driver.

Clean and beautiful, cute robots clean the place. Different from Suvarnabhoomi.
If you are first time visitor to Thailand, please visit Suvarnabhoomi instead, has better connection.

It’s a well maintained and organised airport. Easily understandable and boarding was done without any hiccups.
