Union Mall

Union mall is getting real popular as it was evidenced by the large crowd on weekends. The crowd also swarmed in from Chatuchak weekend market. It is a cleaner, trendier and more spacious than the platinum mall or other fashion malls. The toilets here are clean and there are plenty of eateries to look forward.

Love this place, many varieties of clothes for male and female. Eateries are also fully available upstairs and downstairs.
Most of crowd are the younger ones, one of the better shopping place.
Bought my dresses there for work.

We went to see the interesting art MRT Phahon Yothin, and we were pleasantly surprised stumbling across this mall. Union Mall is an events space cum mall that has many small shops interspersed with wide spaces.

There was an art exhibition on the upper floor, featuring many different artists! The theme at the time we visited was “superstition”. It was really intriguing and mentally stimulating. Being surrounded by such vibrant art was an incredible experience.

The food court in the basement is really good, would highly recommend the chicken briyani!

Amongst all the affordable clothing shop, there was also a leather shoe shop selling really high quality hand made leather shoes. The shoes are a little high end, but definitely a bang for your buck. Would also highly recommend a visit.

In general, the mall was a really nice and comfortable space to hang out in. If you want the energy and experience of a platinum mall, but want to avoid the crowd, I would recommend this mall.

It’s great place to shop for clothing.
The mall is easy to access. One can travel by BTS or MRT to reach it. There’s a sky bridge linking it from both the BTS and MRT stations.
It may be an alternative to Chatuchak weekend market, that is if you missed it, as the weekend market only open during Saturday and Sunday.

Good shopping centre for youth fashion and beauty. Lots of stalls selling cheap Korean style clothes. The top floor has lots of nail and lash salons, I had lash extensions applied for 1000B

I like the Union Mall for their local shopping vibe. The shops have an open-concept, allowing you to see all the merchandises from every store by standing centrally in the middle of the mall. The top floors where the restaurants are is very spacious, I really liked the stacked bowls noodles restaurant. I tried another local Thai restaurant, had the dried fish vegetable soup and papaya salad but did not enjoy the papaya salad, it felt like I was eating sand. So definitely do what the locals do here, shop the local Thai brand merchandises and eat at the stackable noodle shop. Across the street is Highland Cafe 😉

Socks, shoes, luggages, phone cases, trousers, glasses - you name it. This fashion mall has practically everything, at a reasonable price. Shirts start from around $3.5 (you read that correctly) and there is just so much to buy. The upper floors have some nice restaurants, so you’ll never get tired from shopping.
It’s also located in a strategic location - as Central Lardprao is just nearby and you can get different stuff there. Let’s just say if you go to both malls on the same day, you’ve probably done enough shopping ^_^

Covid update (Oct 2021): back to business, but not all stores have opened.

Not only a shopping mall for fashion but also good food here.

This is the best place to shop if you're staying near chatuchak area because it is air conditioned, so convenient (located inside Phahon Yothin Station) and has a variety of things to buy! Ladies clothes take up most of the floors but there are also quite a bit of men's clothing, blazers and evening wear. On the 5th floor, there are salons doing manicure and pedicure too, and I did my marbled manicure gelish for only 450 baht! You would be able to find a wide selection of fast food chains to restaurants. We dined at 2 buffet places, Evaime (shabu buffet dinner at about 350 baht per pax after taxes) and Narai Pizzeria (shabu and Western buffet lunch at about 250 baht per pax after taxes). Both had really really good quality food for the price and we were super satisfied! Will review the restaurant individually. Overall, I love this place because it's less crowded than the regular platinum and pratunam market.

A hugh shopping mall is located in the middle of Ladprao area. You can buy almost everything from trendy items like clothes, jewelry, to everyday utensils. One of the problems is a tiny space of parking lot, So! be there early! then you can shop all day!

My favourite shopping mall in bangkok!! It seemed like there were more locals than tourists when I visited. I love how the shops are spaced out so the walkways are not so cramped and narrow. The prices here are also fixed so there is not much bargaining allowed. Fortunately, they don’t markup the prices unreasonably so I found this made it an enjoyable shopping experience!! No wonder so many locals visit 😂

Going to run errands and eat, go shopping with the family, the clothes here are very beautiful, this is my first time coming here.

Wow it's so interesting. Went on a Sunday and it was cosplayer central. And feels a lot less pariah unlike in Singapore or Malaysia, as we saw entire families turn out there in support, sometimes with multiple kids.

Variety of clothes to shop and fast foods where you can eat. A good place to shoo because it's not too crowded.

Not as crowded as Platinum Mall. Very spacious so it’s comfortable to walk. That said, there’s not as many shops there too but personally I feel that the style of the clothes and accessories there are better than Platinum Mall. The price is also around the same.

The price is affordable. Slightly higher than Pratunam market, but lower than all the other shops outside.

Girls may be familiar with Union Mall as a place to purchase fashionable and on-trend apparel at incredibly low prices. On the fourth floor and in the cellar, you'll find fantastic food stores.
