Venturing inside, I was pleasantly surprised to find a picturesque walkway reminiscent of European settings, surrounded by an expansive body of water that occasionally resembled an endless ocean. Though we missed the opportunity to take the tour boat and explore the wilder side, it serves as a compelling reason to return for another visit. ☺

2-2.5 hours from Bangkok by car. Kid-friendly activities for both summer and rainy season.

For summer, after boat ride, you can spend 1-1.5 hours walk along Khao Chong Lom. Enjoy green scenery and run off water from waterfall.

For rainy season, boat access can reach Pha Ngam Ngon waterfall which you can enjoy short hiking to the waterfall. Hiking sandals is recommended.

Scenic & mid size reservoir in Nakhon Nayok… good for group activities like swimming, camping… no entry fee

Very good view point that worth to visit. There are many activities which are friendly in groups or family. Ticketing team are professional and fast service. All electric vehicle and sightseeing tour are well managed. The toilets and parking zone are clean.

This is a very pretty dam location with many scenic views. We rented a golf cart for an hour and got to enjoy driving across the dam. There's places to stop and take pictures. At the far end of the dam is a small coffee shop that also sells frozen yogurt drinks. It was very nice. We all had a great time.

That's a great place. There is a lot of parking space and there are many shops where you can buy snacks and drinks and other things like hats, etc.

They have a little bus which can take you to the dam. But we walked. There is also the possibility to rent a golf car.

Khun Dan Prakarn Chon Dam is an amazing engineering marvel. Great to visit and see just how much water is being held for future irrigation projects There are views at ground level and on top. Prepare to spend about 45 minutes for both stops. Great for picnics, hikes and family to stretch their legs.

This dam is so clean. I didn't expect that it will be so nice. The dam looks normal as usual. But after I travel with the boat by spending 400 baht, the nature is awesome and clean. The main thing of tourism attraction is not how good it is, but how long it will be always as perfect as now or how far it will be better. The location has good view. As suggestions, using hiking slippers is the best choice as it's adventure travel. Preparing rain coat is suggested because sometimes it's raining. There's shop for food or coffee. Toilet also is provided for 3 bht only.

Car can go up but we choose to do some exercise. The place is good for relaxation.

One of the most beautiful dams in Thailand. Not so far from Bangkok. Lots of space for family gathering. At first everyone has to pass a checkpoint which is right-side of the entry. Then you can go back to the entry point. Ample space for parking. You can take bus ride or golf cart with a hourly price of 350b to get a tour on the dam. Ideal time to visit is in rainy season .

Stunning views. Nice breezy atmosphere. Got to rent a golf cart to ride on the damn for even more Stunning views of the lake and the town below the damn.

The largest and longest dam in Thailand and said to be the largest concrete dam in the world. You can rent an electric golf cart for 350฿ for an hour(usually take 30-45mins) or 30฿ for the tram or walk on the dam to get stunning view of Nakorn Nayok and the reservoir with beautiful nature. There's also a boat for visiting the beautiful landscape and waterfalls (highly recommended) for 200฿ per person or 1500฿ for a private boat only with your group.
Free entrance fee and free parking. The area has many beverages and food stalls, large parking area but very crowded on holidays.

Beautiful photo view point overlooking the dam. We didn't do any excursions but great for photos.

First time here, it's a wonderful place. First did a tour with an electric car on the dam top, later a boat trip on the lake to three beautiful waterfalls.

It is a very beautiful dam, which is the biggest one in Thailand.

You can take a boat tour on the dame lake and it is 200 baht per person, but foreigners pay 300 baht. During the tour you will enjoy the beautiful view of the dam lake and see some waterfalls.
